| 2Sing the glory of His name; make His praise glorious. | 2Sing praises about the majesty of his reputation! Give him the honor he deserves! |
| 3Say to God, “How awesome are Your deeds! So great is Your power that Your enemies cower before You. | 3Say to God: "How awesome are your deeds! Because of your great power your enemies cower in fear before you. |
| 4All the earth bows down to You; they sing praise to You; they sing praise to Your name.” Selah | 4All the earth worships you and sings praises to you! They sing praises to your name!" (Selah) |
| 5Come and see the works of God; how awesome are His deeds toward mankind. | 5Come and witness God's exploits! His acts on behalf of people are awesome! |

| 19But God has surely heard; He has attended to the sound of my prayer. | 19However, God heard; he listened to my prayer. |
| 20Blessed be God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld from me His loving devotion! | 20God deserves praise, for he did not reject my prayer or abandon his love for me! |
