Psalm 110
BSB Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Berean Study BibleNew Living Translation
1A Psalm of David. The LORD said to my Lord: “Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”1The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit in the place of honor at my right hand until I humble your enemies, making them a footstool under your feet.”
2The LORD extends Your mighty scepter from Zion: “Rule in the midst of Your enemies.”2The LORD will extend your powerful kingdom from Jerusalem ; you will rule over your enemies.
3Your people shall be willing on Your day of battle. Arrayed in holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn, to You belongs the dew of Your youth.3When you go to war, your people will serve you willingly. You are arrayed in holy garments, and your strength will be renewed each day like the morning dew.
4The LORD has sworn and will not change His mind: “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.”4The LORD has taken an oath and will not break his vow: “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.”
5The Lord is at Your right hand; He will crush kings in the day of His wrath.5The Lord stands at your right hand to protect you. He will strike down many kings when his anger erupts.
6He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead; He will crush the leaders far and wide.6He will punish the nations and fill their lands with corpses; he will shatter heads over the whole earth.
7He will drink from the brook by the road; therefore He will lift up His head.7But he himself will be refreshed from brooks along the way. He will be victorious.
