| 2Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am languishing; heal me, O LORD, for my bones are troubled. | 2Have mercy on me, LORD, for I am frail! Heal me, LORD, for my bones are shaking! |
| 3My soul also is greatly troubled. But you, O LORD—how long? | 3I am absolutely terrified, and you, LORD--how long will this continue? |
| 4Turn, O LORD, deliver my life; save me for the sake of your steadfast love. | 4Relent, LORD, rescue me! Deliver me because of your faithfulness! |
| 5For in death there is no remembrance of you; in Sheol who will give you praise? | 5For no one remembers you in the realm of death, In Sheol who gives you thanks? |

| 10All my enemies shall be ashamed and greatly troubled; they shall turn back and be put to shame in a moment. | 10May all my enemies be humiliated and absolutely terrified! May they turn back and be suddenly humiliated! |
