1Benjamin fathered Bela his firstborn, Ashbel his second born, Aharah his third born, 1And Benjamin became the father of Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, Aharah the third,
2Nohah his fourth born, and Rapha his fifth born.2Nohah the fourth and Rapha the fifth.
3Bela's descendants included Addar, Gera, Abihud, 3Bela had sons: Addar, Gera, Abihud,
4Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah, 4Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah,

6Ehud's descendants, who were leaders of their ancestral households in Geba and who were taken into exile to Manahath, included: 6These are the sons of Ehud: these are the heads of fathers' households of the inhabitants of Geba, and they carried them into exile to Manahath,
7Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera (also known as Heglam), who fathered Uzza and Ahihud.7namely, Naaman, Ahijah and Gera-- he carried them into exile; and he became the father of Uzza and Ahihud.
8Shaharaim fathered sons in the land of Moab after he had divorced his wives Hushim and Baara. 8Shaharaim became the father of children in the country of Moab after he had sent away Hushim and Baara his wives.
9By his wife Hodesh he fathered Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam, 9By Hodesh his wife he became the father of Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam,
10Jeuz, Sachia, and Mirmah. These were his sons and leaders of ancestral households.10Jeuz, Sachia, Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of fathers' households.
11He also fathered his sons Abitub and Elpaal by Hushim.11By Hushim he became the father of Abitub and Elpaal.
12Elpaal's descendants included Eber, Misham, Shemed (who built Ono and Lod, along with its towns),12The sons of Elpaal were Eber, Misham, and Shemed, who built Ono and Lod, with its towns;
13Beriah and Shema, leaders of ancestral households in Aijalon who put to flight the inhabitants of Gath, 13and Beriah and Shema, who were heads of fathers' households of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who put to flight the inhabitants of Gath;
14Ahio, Shashak, Jeremoth, 14and Ahio, Shashak and Jeremoth.

16Beriah's descendants included Michael, Ishpah, and Joha.16Michael, Ishpah and Joha were the sons of Beriah.

19Shimei's descendants included Jakim, Zichri, Zabdi, 19Jakim, Zichri, Zabdi,

21Adaiah, Beraiah, and Shimrath.21Adaiah, Beraiah and Shimrath were the sons of Shimei.
22Shashak's descendants included Ishpan, Eber, Eliel, 22Ishpan, Eber, Eliel,
23Abdon, Zichri, Hanan, 23Abdon, Zichri, Hanan,
24Hananiah, Elam, Anthothijah, 24Hananiah, Elam, Anthothijah,
25Iphdeiah, and Penuel.25Iphdeiah and Penuel were the sons of Shashak.
26Jeroham's descendants included Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah, 26Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah,
27Jaareshiah, Elijah, and Zichri.27Jaareshiah, Elijah and Zichri were the sons of Jeroham.
28All of these were the leaders of ancestral households, chiefs according to their generations. They lived in Jerusalem.28These were heads of the fathers' households according to their generations, chief men who lived in Jerusalem.
29Jeiel the father of Gibeon lived in Gibeon, and his wife was named Maacah. 29Now in Gibeon, Jeiel, the father of Gibeon lived, and his wife's name was Maacah;
30His firstborn son was Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Nadab, 30and his firstborn son was Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Nadab,
31Gedor, Ahio, Zecher, 31Gedor, Ahio and Zecher.
32and Mikloth, who fathered Shimeah. Now these also lived with their relatives across town in Jerusalem from their other relatives.32Mikloth became the father of Shimeah. And they also lived with their relatives in Jerusalem opposite their other relatives.
33Ner fathered Kish, Kish fathered Saul, Saul fathered Jonathan, Malchi-shua, Abinadab, and Esh-baal. 33Ner became the father of Kish, and Kish became the father of Saul, and Saul became the father of Jonathan, Malchi-shua, Abinadab and Eshbaal.
34Jonathan fathered Merib-baal and Merib-baal fathered Micah.34The son of Jonathan was Merib-baal, and Merib-baal became the father of Micah.
35Micah's descendants included Pithon, Melech, Tarea, and Ahaz.35The sons of Micah were Pithon, Melech, Tarea and Ahaz.
36Ahaz fathered Jehoaddah and Jehoaddah fathered Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri. Zimri fathered Moza. 36Ahaz became the father of Jehoaddah, and Jehoaddah became the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth and Zimri; and Zimri became the father of Moza.
37Moza fathered Binea, and Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son, and Azel his son.37Moza became the father of Binea; Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
38Azel had six sons. Their names were Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan—all of these were the sons of Azel. 38Azel had six sons, and these were their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.
39The sons of his brother Eshek included Ulam his firstborn, Jeush his second, and Eliphelet his third. 39The sons of Eshek his brother were Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second and Eliphelet the third.
40Ulam's descendants were valiant warriors and archers. They had 150 children and grandchildren, all descendants of Benjamin.40The sons of Ulam were mighty men of valor, archers, and had many sons and grandsons, 150 of them. All these were of the sons of Benjamin.
