King James Bible | English Standard Version |
And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. | 1You will say in that day: “I will give thanks to you, O LORD, for though you were angry with me, your anger turned away, that you might comfort me. |
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. | 2“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the LORD GOD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.” |
Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. | 3With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. |
And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. | 4And you will say in that day: “Give thanks to the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted. |
Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth. | 5“Sing praises to the LORD, for he has done gloriously; let this be made known in all the earth. |
Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee. | 6Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.” |
