King James Bible | New International Version |
And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. | 1In that day you will say: "I will praise you, LORD. Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me. |
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. | 2Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation." |
Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. | 3With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. |
And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. | 4In that day you will say: "Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted. |
Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth. | 5Sing to the LORD, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world. |
Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee. | 6Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you." |
