Psalm 70
KJV Parallel ESV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
King James BibleEnglish Standard Version
1To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance. Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.1Make haste, O God, to deliver me! O LORD, make haste to help me!
2Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.2Let them be put to shame and confusion who seek my life! Let them be turned back and brought to dishonor who delight in my hurt!
3Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.3Let them turn back because of their shame who say, “Aha, Aha!”
4Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.4May all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you! May those who love your salvation say evermore, “God is great!”
5But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.5But I am poor and needy; hasten to me, O God! You are my help and my deliverer; O LORD, do not delay!
