King James BibleHolman Christian Standard Bible
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance. Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.1For the choir director. Davidic. To bring remembrance. God, deliver me. Hurry to help me, LORD!
Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.2Let those who seek my life be disgraced and confounded; let those who wish me harm be driven back and humiliated.
Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.3Let those who say, "Aha, aha!" retreat because of their shame.
Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.4Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; let those who love Your salvation continually say, "God is great!"
But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.5I am afflicted and needy; hurry to me, God. You are my help and my deliverer; LORD, do not delay.
