Psalm 70
KJV Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
King James BibleNew Living Translation
1To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance. Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.1Please, God, rescue me! Come quickly, LORD, and help me.
2Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.2May those who try to kill me be humiliated and put to shame. May those who take delight in my trouble be turned back in disgrace.
3Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.3Let them be horrified by their shame, for they said, “Aha! We’ve got him now!”
4Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.4But may all who search for you be filled with joy and gladness in you. May those who love your salvation repeatedly shout, “God is great!”
5But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.5But as for me, I am poor and needy; please hurry to my aid, O God. You are my helper and my savior; O LORD, do not delay.
