2The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras. | 2The sons of Japheth were Gomer and Magog and Madai and Javan and Tubal and Meshech and Tiras. |
3And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah. | 3The sons of Gomer were Ashkenaz and Riphath and Togarmah. |
4And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim. | 4The sons of Javan were Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim and Dodanim. |
5By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations. | 5From these the coastlands of the nations were separated into their lands, every one according to his language, according to their families, into their nations. |
