| 1Come! Let's sing for joy to the LORD! Let's shout out praises to our protector who delivers us! | 1O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. |
| 2Let's enter his presence with thanksgiving! Let's shout out to him in celebration! | 2Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. |
| 3For the LORD is a great God, a great king who is superior to all gods. | 3For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. |
| 4The depths of the earth are in his hand, and the mountain peaks belong to him. | 4In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. |

| 10For forty years I was continually disgusted with that generation, and I said, 'These people desire to go astray; they do not obey my commands.' | 10Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways: |
| 11So I made a vow in my anger, 'They will never enter into the resting place I had set aside for them.'" | 11Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest. |
