2Do not hide your face from me when I am in distress. Turn your ear to me; when I call, answer me quickly.2Do not hide your face from me in the day of my distress! Incline your ear to me; answer me speedily in the day when I call!2Do not hide Your face from me in the day of my distress; Incline Your ear to me; In the day when I call answer me quickly.2Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.2Do not hide Your face from me in my day of trouble. Listen closely to me; answer me quickly when I call.
3For my days vanish like smoke; my bones burn like glowing embers.3For my days pass away like smoke, and my bones burn like a furnace.3For my days have been consumed in smoke, And my bones have been scorched like a hearth.3For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth.3For my days vanish like smoke, and my bones burn like a furnace.
4My heart is blighted and withered like grass; I forget to eat my food.4My heart is struck down like grass and has withered; I forget to eat my bread.4My heart has been smitten like grass and has withered away, Indeed, I forget to eat my bread.4My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread.4My heart is afflicted, withered like grass; I even forget to eat my food.

5In my distress I groan aloud and am reduced to skin and bones.5Because of my loud groaning my bones cling to my flesh.5Because of the loudness of my groaning My bones cling to my flesh.5By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin.5Because of the sound of my groaning, my flesh sticks to my bones.
6I am like a desert owl, like an owl among the ruins.6I am like a desert owl of the wilderness, like an owl of the waste places;6I resemble a pelican of the wilderness; I have become like an owl of the waste places.6I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert.6I am like a desert owl, like an owl among the ruins.

8All day long my enemies taunt me; those who rail against me use my name as a curse.8All the day my enemies taunt me; those who deride me use my name for a curse.8My enemies have reproached me all day long; Those who deride me have used my name as a curse.8Mine enemies reproach me all the day; and they that are mad against me are sworn against me.8My enemies taunt me all day long; they ridicule and curse me.

10because of your great wrath, for you have taken me up and thrown me aside.10because of your indignation and anger; for you have taken me up and thrown me down.10Because of Your indignation and Your wrath, For You have lifted me up and cast me away.10Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down.10because of Your indignation and wrath; for You have picked me up and thrown me aside.

12But you, LORD, sit enthroned forever; your renown endures through all generations.12But you, O LORD, are enthroned forever; you are remembered throughout all generations.12But You, O LORD, abide forever, And Your name to all generations.12But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.12But You, LORD, are enthroned forever; Your fame endures to all generations.
13You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her; the appointed time has come.13You will arise and have pity on Zion; it is the time to favor her; the appointed time has come.13You will arise and have compassion on Zion; For it is time to be gracious to her, For the appointed time has come.13Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.13You will rise up and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her-- the appointed time has come.
14For her stones are dear to your servants; her very dust moves them to pity.14For your servants hold her stones dear and have pity on her dust.14Surely Your servants find pleasure in her stones And feel pity for her dust.14For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.14For Your servants take delight in its stones and favor its dust.

15The nations will fear the name of the LORD, all the kings of the earth will revere your glory.15Nations will fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth will fear your glory.15So the nations will fear the name of the LORD And all the kings of the earth Your glory.15So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.15Then the nations will fear the name of Yahweh, and all the kings of the earth Your glory,
16For the LORD will rebuild Zion and appear in his glory.16For the LORD builds up Zion; he appears in his glory;16For the LORD has built up Zion; He has appeared in His glory.16When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.16for the LORD will rebuild Zion; He will appear in His glory.
17He will respond to the prayer of the destitute; he will not despise their plea.17he regards the prayer of the destitute and does not despise their prayer.17He has regarded the prayer of the destitute And has not despised their prayer.17He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.17He will pay attention to the prayer of the destitute and will not despise their prayer.
18Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet created may praise the LORD:18Let this be recorded for a generation to come, so that a people yet to be created may praise the LORD:18This will be written for the generation to come, That a people yet to be created may praise the LORD.18This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.18This will be written for a later generation, and a newly created people will praise the LORD:

26They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away,26"Even they will perish, but You endure; And all of them will wear out like a garment; Like clothing You will change them and they will be changed.26They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:26They will perish, but You will endure; all of them will wear out like clothing. You will change them like a garment, and they will pass away.
27But you remain the same, and your years will never end.27but you are the same, and your years have no end.27"But You are the same, And Your years will not come to an end.27But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.27But You are the same, and Your years will never end.
28The children of your servants will live in your presence; their descendants will be established before you."28The children of your servants shall dwell secure; their offspring shall be established before you.28"The children of Your servants will continue, And their descendants will be established before You."28The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee.28Your servants' children will dwell securely, and their offspring will be established before You."
