How to know God's ways like Moses?
How can we seek to know God's ways like Moses did?

He Made Known His Ways

“He made known His ways to Moses, His deeds to the people of Israel.” – Psalm 103:7

What Marked Moses’ Pursuit

• Face-to-face communion (Exodus 33:11)

• A humble heart (Numbers 12:3)

• Bold requests for deeper revelation (Exodus 33:13, 18)

• Immediate obedience to every word God spoke (Exodus 40:16)

Pursuing God’s Ways Today

• Desire His presence above His gifts

Psalm 42:1–2; Exodus 33:15

– Settling for “deeds” alone leaves the heart unsatisfied; press in for “ways.”

• Stay in the Word daily

Psalm 25:4 “Show me Your ways, O LORD; teach me Your paths.”

– Scripture is the primary place God discloses His character, priorities, and plans.

• Ask for revelation

James 1:5; Jeremiah 29:13; Hebrews 11:6

– God delights to open His counsel to those who earnestly, believingly seek Him.

• Obey promptly

John 14:21 “Whoever has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me … and I will love him and reveal Myself to him.”

– Each step of obedience becomes a doorway to clearer understanding.

• Cultivate humility and friendship with God

John 15:15; Isaiah 66:2

– Pride blinds; humility invites greater disclosure.

• Intercede for others

– Moses repeatedly stood in the gap for Israel (Exodus 32:11–14).

– As we bear others before God, He entrusts more of His heart to us.

• Practice continual worship

Exodus 34:8; Psalm 95:6

– Worship aligns the soul with God’s greatness and tunes it to hear His voice.

Living the Result

Walk the path Moses walked—thirsting for closeness, listening intently, and acting immediately—and God gladly makes His ways known, turning knowledge into a shared journey with Him day by day.
