How to share your Jesus encounter?
What steps can you take to share your encounter with Jesus this week?

Scripture Focus: John 4:29

“Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Christ?”

Observe the Pattern

• A changed life meets Jesus.

• Wonder and excitement overflow.

• A simple invitation draws others toward Him.

Step One: Marvel at Jesus Personally

• Take time each morning to remember what He has done for you (Psalm 103:2).

• Let gratitude rekindle fresh joy—joy is contagious.

Step Two: Speak Simply and Honestly

• Share your own story, just like the woman did: short, real, no embellishment.

• You don’t need every answer; you need authenticity (1 Peter 3:15).

Step Three: Invite Others to Experience Him

• Use open-ended words—“Come and see.”

• Extend invitations to church, a small group, or coffee and conversation around Scripture (Luke 14:23).

Step Four: Live a Life that Confirms Your Words

• Align conduct and conversation so people “see your good deeds” (Matthew 5:16).

• Forgive quickly, serve willingly, love generously.

Step Five: Rely on the Spirit

• Pray for boldness and sensitivity (Acts 4:29–31).

• Trust His power, not your eloquence (Acts 1:8).

Practical Ideas for the Week

• Text or call one friend: “I’d love to tell you what Jesus has been doing in my life—coffee on me?”

• Post a brief testimony online; keep Jesus at the center, not yourself.

• Carry a pocket Bible or app and offer to read John 4:1-30 with a coworker during lunch.

• Write a thank-you note to someone God used in your journey, mentioning how Christ changed you.

• Volunteer in a ministry opportunity; service opens doors for gospel conversations.

• Memorize Romans 1:16 to bolster courage before speaking.

Encouraging Promises to Remember

• “You will be My witnesses…” (Acts 1:8).

• “Let the redeemed of the LORD say so…” (Psalm 107:2).

• “We are ambassadors for Christ…” (2 Corinthians 5:20).
