As for the rest of the acts of Hezekiah,

Hezekiah stood among Judah’s most faithful kings. He removed idolatrous high places, destroyed the bronze serpent when it became an object of worship, reopened the temple, restored the priesthood, and called the nation to observe the Passover. Hezekiah secured Jerusalem’s water supply by directing water from the Gihon Spring through a tunnel into the city, probably terminating at the Pool of Siloam. The tunnel, about 1,750 feet long, enabled Jerusalem to endure siege conditions without depending on water sources outside its walls. The Siloam Inscription, discovered within the tunnel, preserves an ancient account of the workers meeting as they excavated from opposite directions. Hezekiah’s preparation displayed wise stewardship, while his prayer during the Assyrian crisis showed that human diligence must remain subject to trust in God.
