They will sweep through Judah in a flood, rising shoulder high and covering everything." God is with us! His outspread wings protect the land.

it will sweep on into Judah as a flood, and, pouring over, it will reach up to the neck; and its outspread wings will fill the breadth of your land, O Immanuel.

Enemy soldiers will cover Judah like a flood reaching up to your neck. But God is with us. He will spread his wings and protect our land.
