Good News Translation
you say, 'I am innocent; surely the LORD is no longer angry with me.' But I, the LORD, will punish you because you deny that you have sinned.

you say, “I am innocent; surely his anger has turned from me.” Now I am bringing you to judgment for saying, “I have not sinned.”

you claim to be innocent, and you want me to stop being angry with you. So I'll take you to court, and we'll see who is right.
