| 13You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its savor, how can it be made salty again? And whoever says to his brother, Fool!' will be subject to the Sanhedrin. But whoever says, You moron!' will be subject to hellfire. |
| 23So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, | 23So if you are offering your gift on the altar, and there you remember that your brother has something against you, |

| 25Reconcile quickly with your adversary, while you are still on the way to court. | 32But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, brings adultery upon her. | 33Again, you have heard that it was said to the ancients, ‘Do not break your oath, but fulfill your vows to the Lord.’ | 33"Again, you have heard that it was said to our ancestors, You must not break your oath, but you must keep your oaths to the Lord. |
