| 1Then the LORD said to Moses, “Chisel out two stone tablets like the originals, and I will write on them the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke. | 1The LORD said to Moses, "Cut out two tablets of stone like the first, and I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you smashed. |
| 2Be ready in the morning, and come up on Mount Sinai to present yourself before Me on the mountaintop. | 2Be prepared in the morning, and go up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and station yourself for me there on the top of the mountain. |

| 4So Moses chiseled out two stone tablets like the originals. He rose early in the morning, and taking the two stone tablets in his hands, he went up Mount Sinai as the LORD had commanded him. | 4So Moses cut out two tablets of stone like the first; early in the morning he went up to Mount Sinai, just as the LORD had commanded him, and he took in his hand the two tablets of stone. |

| 9“O Lord,” he said, “if I have indeed found favor in Your sight, my Lord, please go with us. | 11Observe what I command you this day. I will drive out before you the Amorites, Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites. | 11"Obey what I am commanding you this day.
