| 1Shout for joy to God, all the earth; | 1To the chief Musician, A Song or Psalm. Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands: |
| 2sing the glory of his name; give to him glorious praise! | 2Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious. |
| 3Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies come cringing to you. | 3Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee. |
| 4All the earth worships you and sings praises to you; they sing praises to your name.” Selah | 4All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah. |
| 5Come and see what God has done: he is awesome in his deeds toward the children of man. | 5Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men. |

| 8Bless our God, O peoples; let the sound of his praise be heard, | 8O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard: |
| 9who has kept our soul among the living and has not let our feet slip. | 9Which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved. |
| 10For you, O God, have tested us; you have tried us as silver is tried. | 10For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. |
| 11You brought us into the net; you laid a crushing burden on our backs; | 11Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins. |
| 12you let men ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; yet you have brought us out to a place of abundance. | 12Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place. |
| 13I will come into your house with burnt offerings; I will perform my vows to you, | 13I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows, |
| 14that which my lips uttered and my mouth promised when I was in trouble. | 14Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble. |
| 15I will offer to you burnt offerings of fattened animals, with the smoke of the sacrifice of rams; I will make an offering of bulls and goats. Selah | 15I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah. |
| 16Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for my soul. | 16Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul. |
| 17I cried to him with my mouth, and high praise was on my tongue. | 17I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue. |
| 18If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. | 18If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: |
| 19But truly God has listened; he has attended to the voice of my prayer. | 19But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer. |
| 20Blessed be God, because he has not rejected my prayer or removed his steadfast love from me! | 20Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me. |
