| 1Davidic. LORD, I turn to You. | 1To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul. |
| 2My God, I trust in You. Do not let me be disgraced; do not let my enemies gloat over me. | 2O my God, in you I trust; let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me. |
| 3No one who waits for You will be disgraced; those who act treacherously without cause will be disgraced. | 3Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame; they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous. |
| 4Make Your ways known to me, LORD; teach me Your paths. | 4Make me to know your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths. |
