| 3Be gracious to me, Lord, for I call to You all day long. | 3Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I cry out to you all day long! |
| 4Bring joy to Your servant's life, because I turn to You, Lord. | 4Make your servant glad, for to you, O Lord, I pray! |
| 5For You, Lord, are kind and ready to forgive, rich in faithful love to all who call on You. | 5Certainly O Lord, you are kind and forgiving, and show great faithfulness to all who cry out to you. |
| 6 LORD, hear my prayer; listen to my plea for mercy. | 6O LORD, hear my prayer! Pay attention to my plea for mercy! |
| 7I call on You in the day of my distress, for You will answer me. | 7In my time of trouble I cry out to you, for you will answer me. |
| 8Lord, there is no one like You among the gods, and there are no works like Yours. | 8None can compare to you among the gods, O Lord! Your exploits are incomparable! |
| 9All the nations You have made will come and bow down before You, Lord, and will honor Your name. | 9All the nations, whom you created, will come and worship you, O Lord. They will honor your name. |
| 10For You are great and perform wonders; You alone are God. | 10For you are great and do amazing things. You alone are God. |
| 11Teach me Your way, Yahweh, and I will live by Your truth. Give me an undivided mind to fear Your name. | 11O LORD, teach me how you want me to live! Then I will obey your commands. Make me wholeheartedly committed to you! |

| 14God, arrogant people have attacked me; a gang of ruthless men seeks my life. They have no regard for You. | 14O God, arrogant men attack me; a gang of ruthless men, who do not respect you, seek my life. |
| 15But You, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger and rich in faithful love and truth. | 15But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and merciful God. You are patient and demonstrate great loyal love and faithfulness. |
| 16Turn to me and be gracious to me. Give Your strength to Your servant; save the son of Your female servant. | 16Turn toward me and have mercy on me! Give your servant your strength! Deliver your slave! |
| 17Show me a sign of Your goodness; my enemies will see and be put to shame because You, LORD, have helped and comforted me. | 17Show me evidence of your favor! Then those who hate me will see it and be ashamed, for you, O LORD, will help me and comfort me. |
