| 2The LORD will extend your powerful kingdom from Jerusalem ; you will rule over your enemies. | 2The LORD will extend your mighty scepter from Zion, saying, "Rule in the midst of your enemies!" |
| 3When you go to war, your people will serve you willingly. You are arrayed in holy garments, and your strength will be renewed each day like the morning dew. | 3Your troops will be willing on your day of battle. Arrayed in holy splendor, your young men will come to you like dew from the morning's womb. |
