1	וַיֵּצֵ֨א הַגּוֹרָ֜ל לִבְנֵ֤י יוֹסֵף֙ מִיַּרְדֵּ֣ן יְרִיח֔וֹ לְמֵ֥י יְרִיח֖וֹ מִזְרָ֑חָה הַמִּדְבָּ֗ר עֹלֶ֧ה מִירִיח֛וֹ בָּהָ֖ר בֵּֽית־ אֵֽל׃	The allotment for the descendants of Joseph extended from the Jordan at Jericho to the waters of Jericho on the east, through the wilderness that goes up from Jericho into the hill country of Bethel.	And the lot of the children of Joseph fell from Jordan by Jericho, unto the water of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness that goeth up from Jericho throughout mount Bethel,
2	וְיָצָ֥א מִבֵּֽית־ אֵ֖ל ל֑וּזָה וְעָבַ֛ר אֶל־ גְּב֥וּל הָאַרְכִּ֖י עֲטָרֽוֹת׃	It went on from Bethel (that is, Luz) and proceeded to the border of the Archites in Ataroth.	And goeth out from Bethel to Luz, and passeth along unto the borders of Archi to Ataroth,
3	וְיָֽרַד־ יָ֜מָּה אֶל־ גְּב֣וּל הַיַּפְלֵטִ֗י עַ֣ד גְּב֧וּל בֵּית־ חוֹרֹ֛ן תַּחְתּ֖וֹן וְעַד־ גָּ֑זֶר וְהָי֥וּ [תצאתו] (תֹצְאֹתָ֖יו) יָֽמָּה׃	Then it descended westward to the border of the Japhletites as far as the border of Lower Beth-horon and on to Gezer, and it ended at the Sea.	And goeth down westward to the coast of Japhleti, unto the coast of Bethhoron the nether, and to Gezer: and the goings out thereof are at the sea.
4	וַיִּנְחֲל֥וּ בְנֵי־ יוֹסֵ֖ף מְנַשֶּׁ֥ה וְאֶפְרָֽיִם׃	So Ephraim and Manasseh, the sons of Joseph, received their inheritance.	So the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.
5	וַיְהִ֛י גְּב֥וּל בְּנֵֽי־ אֶפְרַ֖יִם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם וַיְהִ֞י גְּב֤וּל נַחֲלָתָם֙ מִזְרָ֔חָה עַטְר֣וֹת אַדָּ֔ר עַד־ בֵּ֥ית חוֹרֹ֖ן עֶלְיֽוֹן׃	This was the territory of the descendants of Ephraim by their clans: The border of their inheritance went from Ataroth-addar in the east to Upper Beth-horon	And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was [thus]: even the border of their inheritance on the east side was Atarothaddar, unto Bethhoron the upper;
6	וְיָצָ֨א הַגְּב֜וּל הַיָּ֗מָּה הַֽמִּכְמְתָת֙ מִצָּפ֔וֹן וְנָסַ֧ב הַגְּב֛וּל מִזְרָ֖חָה תַּאֲנַ֣ת שִׁלֹ֑ה וְעָבַ֣ר אוֹת֔וֹ מִמִּזְרַ֖ח יָנֽוֹחָה׃	and out toward the Sea. From Michmethath on the north it turned eastward toward Taanath-shiloh and passed by it to Janoah on the east.	And the border went out toward the sea to Michmethah on the north side; and the border went about eastward unto Taanathshiloh, and passed by it on the east to Janohah;
7	וְיָרַ֥ד מִיָּנ֖וֹחָה עֲטָר֣וֹת וְנַעֲרָ֑תָה וּפָגַע֙ בִּֽירִיח֔וֹ וְיָצָ֖א הַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃	From Janoah it went down to Ataroth and Naarah, and then reached Jericho and came out at the Jordan.	And it went down from Janohah to Ataroth, and to Naarath, and came to Jericho, and went out at Jordan.
8	מִתַּפּ֜וּחַ יֵלֵ֨ךְ הַגְּב֥וּל יָ֙מָּה֙ נַ֣חַל קָנָ֔ה וְהָי֥וּ תֹצְאֹתָ֖יו הַיָּ֑מָּה זֹ֗את נַחֲלַ֛ת מַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵי־ אֶפְרַ֖יִם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָֽם׃	From Tappuah the border went westward to the Brook of Kanah and ended at the Sea. This was the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Ephraim,	The border went out from Tappuah westward unto the river Kanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.
9	וְהֶעָרִ֗ים הַמִּבְדָּלוֹת֙ לִבְנֵ֣י אֶפְרַ֔יִם בְּת֖וֹךְ נַחֲלַ֣ת בְּנֵֽי־ מְנַשֶּׁ֑ה כָּֽל־ הֶעָרִ֖ים וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃	along with all the cities and villages set apart for the descendants of Ephraim within the inheritance of Manasseh.	And the separate cities for the children of Ephraim [were] among the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.
10	וְלֹ֣א הוֹרִ֔ישׁוּ אֶת־ הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֖י הַיּוֹשֵׁ֣ב בְּגָ֑זֶר וַיֵּ֨שֶׁב הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֜י בְּקֶ֤רֶב אֶפְרַ֙יִם֙ עַד־ הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה וַיְהִ֖י לְמַס־ עֹבֵֽד׃ פ	But they did not drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer. So the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites to this day, but they are forced laborers.	And they drave not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites unto this day, and serve under tribute.
