How to share salvation's joy?
In what ways can we share the joy of salvation with others?

Wells of Salvation: Isaiah’s Picture

Isaiah 12:3 declares, “With joy you will draw water from the springs of salvation.”

• The “springs” are abundant, available, and overflowing—never running dry.

• Joy is the bucket we lower; salvation is the water we lift.

• Because the supply is constant, sharing it is not loss but overflow.

Joy That Overflows: Why We Share

• Jesus promises a personal fountain: “The water I give him will become in him a fount of water springing up to eternal life” (John 4:14).

• Overflow is expected: “Streams of living water will flow from within him” (John 7:38).

• Our visible gladness draws notice: “Then it was said among the nations, ‘The LORD has done great things for them’” (Psalm 126:2).

Practical Pathways to Pour Out Joy

• Rejoice out loud—worship that’s audible and authentic (Philippians 4:4).

• Smile and serve—acts of kindness that echo the Gospel (Matthew 5:16).

• Invite—share meals, services, studies; joy multiplies in community (Acts 2:46-47).

• Give generously—time, talent, treasure; cheerful giving spotlights the Giver (2 Corinthians 9:7).

• Celebrate others—affirm God’s work in their lives; joy affirmed is joy shared (Romans 12:15).

Words That Point to the Source

• Tell your story: “Always be prepared to give a defense to everyone who asks you the reason for the hope that is in you” (1 Peter 3:15).

• Speak Scripture: God’s own words carry His power (Hebrews 4:12).

• Proclaim the Gospel clearly: Christ died, was buried, and rose again (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

• Extend the invitation: “Come!” (Revelation 22:17).

Living as Refreshing Springs

• Stay near the Source—daily Word and prayer keep the flow pure (Psalm 1:2-3).

• Guard holiness—sin clogs the channel; confession clears it (1 John 1:9).

• Walk in the Spirit—His fruit includes joy, proving its origin (Galatians 5:22).

• Persevere—endurance under pressure testifies that the spring is real (James 1:2-3).

• Encourage one another—shared joy strengthens the whole body (1 Thessalonians 5:11).
