Leader

The concept of leadership in the Bible is multifaceted, encompassing spiritual, political, and social dimensions. Biblical leaders are often chosen by God to fulfill specific purposes, and their authority is derived from their obedience to God's will. Leadership is characterized by service, humility, and a commitment to justice and righteousness.

One of the earliest examples of leadership is Moses, who led the Israelites out of Egypt. His leadership was marked by his direct communication with God and his role as a mediator between God and the people. In Exodus 3:10, God calls Moses, saying, "So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring My people the Israelites out of Egypt."

Shepherd

In the Old Testament, God is often depicted as the Shepherd of Israel. Psalm 23, one of the most beloved passages, begins with the declaration, "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want." This psalm illustrates God's provision, guidance, and protection.

The prophet Ezekiel contrasts good and bad shepherds, condemning those who neglect their duties and exploit the flock. In Ezekiel 34:11-12, God promises to be the true shepherd: "For this is what the Lord GOD says: 'Behold, I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out.
