Majestic Is His Work

הַ֥לְלוּ (Hallelu) יָ֨הּ׀ (YAH).

אוֹדֶ֣ה (I will give thanks to) יְ֭הוָה (YHWH) בְּכָל־ (with all) לֵבָ֑ב (of my heart),

בְּס֖וֹד (in the council) יְשָׁרִ֣ים (of the upright) וְעֵדָֽה׃ (and in the assembly).

2  גְּ֭דֹלִים (Great are) מַעֲשֵׂ֣י (the works) יְהוָ֑ה (of YHWH),

דְּ֝רוּשִׁ֗ים (being searched out) לְכָל־ (by all) חֶפְצֵיהֶֽם׃ (who delight in them).

3  הוֹד־ (Splendor) וְהָדָ֥ר (and majesty) פָּֽעֳל֑וֹ (are His work),

וְ֝צִדְקָת֗וֹ (and His righteousness) עֹמֶ֥דֶת (stands) לָעַֽד׃ (forever).

4  זֵ֣כֶר (A memorial) עָ֭שָׂה (He has made) לְנִפְלְאֹתָ֑יו (by His wonders);

חַנּ֖וּן (the gracious) וְרַח֣וּם (and compassionate is) יְהוָֽה׃ (YHWH).

5  טֶ֭רֶף (Food) נָתַ֣ן (He has given) לִֽירֵאָ֑יו (to those fearing Him);

יִזְכֹּ֖ר (He remembers) לְעוֹלָ֣ם (forever) בְּרִיתֽוֹ׃ (His covenant).

6  כֹּ֣חַ (The power) מַ֭עֲשָׂיו (of His works) הִגִּ֣יד (He has declared) לְעַמּ֑וֹ (to His people)

לָתֵ֥ת (by giving) לָ֝הֶ֗ם (to them) נַחֲלַ֥ת (the inheritance) גּוֹיִֽם׃ (of the nations).

7  מַעֲשֵׂ֣י (The works) יָ֭דָיו (of His hands) אֱמֶ֣ת (are truth) וּמִשְׁפָּ֑ט (and justice);

נֶ֝אֱמָנִ֗ים (are trustworthy) כָּל־ (are all) פִּקּוּדָֽיו׃ (His precepts).

8  סְמוּכִ֣ים (They are upheld) לָעַ֣ד (for ever) לְעוֹלָ֑ם (everlasting);

עֲ֝שׂוּיִ֗ם (they are made) בֶּאֱמֶ֥ת (in truth) וְיָשָֽׁר׃ (and uprightness).

9  פְּד֤וּת׀ (Redemption) שָׁ֘לַ֤ח (He has sent) לְעַמּ֗וֹ (to His people);

צִוָּֽה־ (He has appointed) לְעוֹלָ֥ם (forever) בְּרִית֑וֹ (His covenant);

קָד֖וֹשׁ (Holy) וְנוֹרָ֣א (and awesome) שְׁמֽוֹ׃ (is His name).

10  רֵ֘אשִׁ֤ית (The beginning) חָכְמָ֨ה׀ (of wisdom) יִרְאַ֬ת (is the fear) יְהוָ֗ה (of YHWH)

שֵׂ֣כֶל (understanding) ט֭וֹב (good) לְכָל־ (is to all) עֹשֵׂיהֶ֑ם (those doing it);

תְּ֝הִלָּת֗וֹ (may His praise) עֹמֶ֥דֶת (be enduring) לָעַֽד׃ (forever).
