Ascribe Glory to Yahweh

מִזְמ֗וֹר (A Psalm) לְדָ֫וִ֥ד (of David).

1הָב֣וּ (Ascribe) לַֽ֭יהוָה (to YHWH), בְּנֵ֣י (O sons) אֵלִ֑ים (of the mighty ones).

הָב֥וּ (Ascribe) לַ֝יהוָ֗ה (to YHWH) כָּב֥וֹד (glory) וָעֹֽז׃ (and strength).

2  הָב֣וּ (Ascribe) לַֽ֭יהוָה (to YHWH) כְּב֣וֹד (the glory) שְׁמ֑וֹ (of His name);

הִשְׁתַּחֲו֥וּ (bow down) לַ֝יהוָ֗ה (before YHWH) בְּהַדְרַת־ (in the splendor) קֹֽדֶשׁ׃ (of holiness).

3  ק֥וֹל (The voice) יְהוָ֗ה (of YHWH) עַל־ (is upon) הַ֫מָּ֥יִם (the waters);

אֵֽל־ (the God) הַכָּב֥וֹד (of glory) הִרְעִ֑ים (thunders)—

יְ֝הוָ֗ה (YHWH) עַל־ (is over) מַ֥יִם (the waters) רַבִּֽים׃ (many).

4  קוֹל־ (The voice) יְהוָ֥ה (of YHWH) בַּכֹּ֑חַ (is with power);

ק֥וֹל (the voice) יְ֝הוָ֗ה (of YHWH) בֶּהָדָֽר׃ (is with majesty).

5  ק֣וֹל (The voice) יְ֭הוָה (of YHWH) שֹׁבֵ֣ר (breaks) אֲרָזִ֑ים (the cedars),

וַיְשַׁבֵּ֥ר (and shatters) יְ֝הוָ֗ה (YHWH) אֶת־ (-) אַרְזֵ֥י (the cedars) הַלְּבָנֽוֹן׃ (of Lebanon).

6  וַיַּרְקִידֵ֥ם (And He makes skip) כְּמוֹ־ (like) עֵ֑גֶל (a calf) לְבָנ֥וֹן (Lebanon),

וְ֝שִׂרְיֹ֗ן (and Sirion) כְּמ֣וֹ (like) בֶן־ (the son) רְאֵמִֽים׃ (of a wild ox).

7  קוֹל־ (The voice) יְהוָ֥ה (of YHWH) חֹצֵ֗ב (is hewing)

לַהֲב֥וֹת (flames) אֵֽשׁ׃ (of fire).

8  ק֣וֹל (The voice) יְ֭הוָה (of YHWH) יָחִ֣יל (causes to writhe) מִדְבָּ֑ר (the wilderness);

יָחִ֥יל (causes to writhe) יְ֝הוָ֗ה (YHWH) מִדְבַּ֥ר (the wilderness) קָדֵֽשׁ׃ (of Kadesh).

9  ק֤וֹל (The voice) יְהוָ֨ה׀ (of YHWH) יְחוֹלֵ֣ל (twists) אַיָּלוֹת֮ (the oaks)

וַֽיֶּחֱשֹׂ֪ף (and strips bare) יְעָ֫ר֥וֹת (the forests),

וּבְהֵיכָל֑וֹ (and in His temple) כֻּ֝לּ֗וֹ (all of it) אֹמֵ֥ר (is saying), כָּבֽוֹד׃ (Glory)!

10  יְ֭הוָה (YHWH) לַמַּבּ֣וּל (over the flood) יָשָׁ֑ב (has sat),

וַיֵּ֥שֶׁב (and sits) יְ֝הוָ֗ה (YHWH) מֶ֣לֶךְ (as King) לְעוֹלָֽם׃ (forever).

11  יְֽהוָ֗ה (YHWH) עֹ֭ז (strength) לְעַמּ֣וֹ (to His people) יִתֵּ֑ן (gives);

יְהוָ֓ה׀ (YHWH) יְבָרֵ֖ךְ (blesses) אֶת־ (-) עַמּ֣וֹ (His people) בַשָּׁלֽוֹם׃ (with peace).
