| 18Perceiving their malicious intent, Jesus said, "Why are you testing me, hypocrites? | 18But Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said, "You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me? |

| 45"If David calls him 'Lord,' how then can he be his son?" | 45If then David calls him 'Lord,' how can he be his son?" |
| 46No one was able to answer him at all, and from that day no one dared to question him anymore. | 46No one could say a word in reply, and from that day on no one dared to ask him any more questions. |
