| 3And Bashemath Ishmael's daughter, sister of Nebajoth. | 3also Basemath, Ishmael's daughter, the sister of Nebaioth. |
| 4And Adah bare to Esau Eliphaz; and Bashemath bare Reuel; | 4Adah bore Eliphaz to Esau, and Basemath bore Reuel, |
| 5And Aholibamah bare Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah: these are the sons of Esau, which were born unto him in the land of Canaan. | 5and Oholibamah bore Jeush and Jalam and Korah. These are the sons of Esau who were born to him in the land of Canaan. |
| 6And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had got in the land of Canaan; and went into the country from the face of his brother Jacob. | 6Then Esau took his wives and his sons and his daughters and all his household, and his livestock and all his cattle and all his goods which he had acquired in the land of Canaan, and went to another land away from his brother Jacob. |

| 11And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz. | 11The sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho and Gatam and Kenaz. |
| 12And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau's son; and she bare to Eliphaz Amalek: these were the sons of Adah Esau's wife. | 12Timna was a concubine of Esau's son Eliphaz and she bore Amalek to Eliphaz. These are the sons of Esau's wife Adah. |
| 13And these are the sons of Reuel; Nahath, and Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah: these were the sons of Bashemath Esau's wife. | 13These are the sons of Reuel: Nahath and Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah. These were the sons of Esau's wife Basemath. |

| 16Duke Korah, duke Gatam, and duke Amalek: these are the dukes that came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these were the sons of Adah. | 16chief Korah, chief Gatam, chief Amalek. These are the chiefs descended from Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Adah. |
| 17And these are the sons of Reuel Esau's son; duke Nahath, duke Zerah, duke Shammah, duke Mizzah: these are the dukes that came of Reuel in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Bashemath Esau's wife. | 17These are the sons of Reuel, Esau's son: chief Nahath, chief Zerah, chief Shammah, chief Mizzah. These are the chiefs descended from Reuel in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Esau's wife Basemath. |

| 22And the children of Lotan were Hori and Hemam; and Lotan's sister was Timna. | 22The sons of Lotan were Hori and Hemam; and Lotan's sister was Timna. |
| 23And the children of Shobal were these; Alvan, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shepho, and Onam. | 23These are the sons of Shobal: Alvan and Manahath and Ebal, Shepho and Onam. |
| 24And these are the children of Zibeon; both Ajah, and Anah: this was that Anah that found the mules in the wilderness, as he fed the asses of Zibeon his father. | 24These are the sons of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah-- he is the Anah who found the hot springs in the wilderness when he was pasturing the donkeys of his father Zibeon. |

| 30Duke Dishon, duke Ezer, duke Dishan: these are the dukes that came of Hori, among their dukes in the land of Seir. | 30chief Dishon, chief Ezer, chief Dishan. These are the chiefs descended from the Horites, according to their various chiefs in the land of Seir. |
| 31And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel. | 31Now these are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the sons of Israel. |
| 32And Bela the son of Beor reigned in Edom: and the name of his city was Dinhabah. | 32Bela the son of Beor reigned in Edom, and the name of his city was Dinhabah. |
| 33And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead. | 33Then Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah became king in his place. |
