In Jeremiah 46, the Lord proclaims, "Prepare your shields, both small and large, and march out for battle! Harness the horses; mount the steeds; take your positions with helmets on! Polish your spears; put on your armor!" (Jeremiah 46:3-4). Despite Egypt's military preparations, the prophecy foretells its defeat at the hands of Babylon.

Jeremiah further declares, "Egypt is a beautiful heifer, but a gadfly from the north is coming against her" (Jeremiah 46:20). This imagery portrays Egypt as vulnerable to invasion and conquest, despite its outward appearance of strength.

3. Ezekiel's Prophecies: The prophet Ezekiel provides detailed prophecies against Egypt, particularly in chapters 29-32. In Ezekiel 29, the Lord speaks against Pharaoh and Egypt, likening Pharaoh to a great monster in the Nile: "I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great monster lying among your streams" (Ezekiel 29:3). This prophecy signifies God's judgment against Egypt's pride and self-reliance.

Ezekiel also predicts a period of desolation for Egypt: "Egypt will become a desolate wasteland. Then they will know that I am the LORD" (Ezekiel 29:9). This desolation serves as a testament to God's sovereignty and the futility of opposing His will.

4. Daniel's Prophecies: In the book of Daniel, Egypt is mentioned in the context of end-times prophecies. Daniel 11 describes a series of conflicts involving the "king of the South," traditionally interpreted as Egypt, and the "king of the North." These prophecies highlight the geopolitical significance of Egypt and its role in the unfolding of divine plans.
