The Plot to Kill Jesus 1And it came to pass when Jesus finished all these words, He said to His disciples,

Then the high priests and the elders of the people were gathered together into the court of the high priest who was called Caiaphas;
and they consulted together that they might take Jesus by guile and kill Him.
But they said, "Not during the feast, lest an uproar might arise among the people." Jesus Anointed at Bethany 6Now, when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper,
there came to Him a woman having an alabaster cruse of very precious ointment, and poured it down upon His head, while reclining at table.
And the disciples, seeing it, were much displeased, saying, "To what purpose is this waste?
For this might have been sold for much, and given to the poor!"
But Jesus, perceiving it, said to them, Judas Agrees to Betray Jesus 14Then one of the twelve, the one called Judas Iscariot, going to the high priests,
said, "What are ye willing to give me, and I will deliver Him up to you?" And they paid him thirty pieces of silver.
And from that time he was seeking an opportunity to deliver Him up. Preparing the Passover 17And on the first day of the unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying, "Where dost Thou wish that we should prepare for Thee to eat the passover?"
And He said, The Last Supper 20And, evening coming on, He was reclining at table with the twelve;
and, as they were eating, He said,
And, as they were eating, Jesus, taking a loaf and blessing it, broke it, and giving to his disciples, said,
And, having sung praises, they went out into the mount of Olives. Jesus Predicts Peter’s Denial 31Then Jesus saith to them, Jesus Prays at Gethsemane 36Then cometh Jesus with them into a place called Gethsemane, and saith to the disciples,
And, going forward a little, He fell on His face, praying, and saying, 41
Again, a second time, going away, He prayed, saying, The Betrayal of Jesus 47And, while He is yet speaking, behold, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a large multitude, with swords and clubs, from the high priests and elders of the people.
And he who was betraying Him gave them a sign, saying, "Whomsoever I kiss, He it is; seize Him."
And immediately coming to Jesus, he said, "Hail, Rabbi!" and kissed Him.
But Jesus said to him,
And, behold, one of those with Jesus stretching forth his hand, grasped his sword; and, smiting the servant of the high priest, he struck off his ear.
Then saith Jesus to him,
In that hour Jesus saith to the multitudes, Jesus before the Sanhedrin 57And those who seized Jesus led Him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were gathered together.
And Peter was following Him afar off to the court of the high priest; and, entering within, he was sitting with the attendants to see the end.
And the high priests and the whole Sanhedrin were seeking false witness against Jesus, that they might put Him to death;
and they did not find any, though many false witnesses came forward. But afterward two false witnesses, coming forward,
said, "This Man, said, 'I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.'"
And the high priest, standing up, said to Him, "Answerest Thou nothing? What are these testifying against Thee?"
But Jesus was silent. And the high priest said to Him, "I adjure Thee by the living God, that Thou tell us whether Thou art the Christ, the Son of God"
Jesus saith to him,
Then the high priest rent his garments, saying, "He blasphemed! What further need have we of witnesses? Behold, ye just now heard the blasphemy!
What think ye?" And they, answering, said, "He is worthy of death."
Then did they spit in His face, and buffet Him. And others smote Him,
saying, "Prophesy to us, O Christ, who is he that struck Thee?" Peter Denies Jesus 69And Peter was sitting without, in the court; and a certain maid-servant approached him, saying, "And you were with Jesus the Galilaean!"
But he denied before them all, saying, "I know not what you are saying."
And another maid saw him, when he walked out into the porch, and says to those there, "This man was with Jesus the Nazarene."
And again he denied with an oath, "I do not know the Man."
And after a little while, those who stood by, having come, said to Peter, "Truly you also are one of them; for even your speech makes you manifest."
Then began he to curse and swear, "I do not know the Man." And straight-way a cock crowed.
