A Song of Degrees.
Psalm 120:1 In my trouble I cried to the Lord: and he heard me.
Psalm 121:1 I have lifted up my eyes to the mountains, from whence help shall come to me.
Psalm 122:1 A gradual canticle. I rejoiced at the things that were said to me: We shall go into the house of the Lord.
Psalm 123:1 To thee have I lifted up my eyes, who dwellest in heaven.
Psalm 124:1 A gradual canticle. If it had not been that the Lord was with us, let Israel now say:
Psalm 125:1 A gradual canticle. They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Sion: he shall not be moved for ever that dwelleth

1A gradual canticle. When the Lord brought back the captivity of Sion, we became like men comforted.2Then was our mouth filled with gladness; and our tongue with joy. Then shall they say among the Gentiles: The Lord hath done great things for them.…
And going out, he followed him. And he knew not that it was true which was done by the angel: but thought he saw a vision.
The Lord thy God will bring back again thy captivity, and will have mercy on thee, and gather thee again out of all the nations, into which he scattered thee before.
Until thy mouth be filled with laughter, and thy lips with rejoicing.
The Lord also was turned at the penance of Job, when he prayed for his friends. And the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
Convert us, O God: and shew us thy face, and we shall be saved.
Unto the end, for the sons of Core, a psalm.  Lord, thou hast blessed thy land: thou hast turned away the captivity of Jacob.
The whole earth is quiet and still, it is glad and hath rejoiced.
And I will be found by you, saith the Lord: and I will bring back your captivity, and I will gather you out of all nations, and from all the places to which I have driven you out, saith the Lord: and I will bring you back from the place to which I caused you to be carried away captive.
And out of them shall come forth praise, and the voice of them that play: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be made few: and I will glorify them, and they shall not be lessened.
And thou also, O Juda, set thee a harvest, when I shall bring back the captivity of my people.
Thus saith the Lord of hosts: If it seem hard in the eyes of the remnant of this people in those days: shall it be hard in my eyes, saith the Lord of hosts?
