| 2See how Your enemies rage, how Your foes have reared their heads. | 2See how your enemies make an uproar; those who hate you have acted arrogantly. |
| 3With cunning they scheme against Your people and conspire against those You cherish, | 3They devise clever schemes against your people; they conspire against your treasured ones. |
| 4saying, “Come, let us erase them as a nation; may the name of Israel be remembered no more.” | 4They say, "Come, let us wipe them out as a nation so that Israel's name will no longer be remembered." |
