Psalm 25
CSB Parallel ESV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Christian Standard BibleEnglish Standard Version
LORD, I appeal to you.1To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul.
My God, I trust in you. Do not let me be disgraced; do not let my enemies gloat over me.2O my God, in you I trust; let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me.
No one who waits for you will be disgraced; those who act treacherously without cause will be disgraced.3Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame; they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous.
Make your ways known to me, LORD; teach me your paths.4Make me to know your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths.
Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; I wait for you all day long.5Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.
Remember, LORD, your compassion and your faithful love, for they have existed from antiquity.6Remember your mercy, O LORD, and your steadfast love, for they have been from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth or my acts of rebellion; in keeping with your faithful love, remember me because of your goodness, LORD.7Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for the sake of your goodness, O LORD!
The LORD is good and upright; therefore he shows sinners the way.8Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in the way.
He leads the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.9He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.
All the LORD's ways show faithful love and truth to those who keep his covenant and decrees.10All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.
LORD, for the sake of your name, forgive my iniquity, for it is immense.11For your name’s sake, O LORD, pardon my guilt, for it is great.
Who is this person who fears the LORD? He will show him the way he should choose.12Who is the man who fears the LORD? Him will he instruct in the way that he should choose.
He will live a good life, and his descendants will inherit the land.13His soul shall abide in well-being, and his offspring shall inherit the land.
The secret counsel of the LORD is for those who fear him, and he reveals his covenant to them.14The friendship of the LORD is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant.
My eyes are always on the LORD, for he will pull my feet out of the net.15My eyes are ever toward the LORD, for he will pluck my feet out of the net.
Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am alone and afflicted.16Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.
The distresses of my heart increase; bring me out of my sufferings.17The troubles of my heart are enlarged; bring me out of my distresses.
Consider my affliction and trouble, and forgive all my sins.18Consider my affliction and my trouble, and forgive all my sins.
Consider my enemies; they are numerous, and they hate me violently.19Consider how many are my foes, and with what violent hatred they hate me.
Guard me and rescue me; do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.20Oh, guard my soul, and deliver me! Let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.
May integrity and what is right watch over me, for I wait for you.21May integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you.
God, redeem Israel, from all its distresses.22Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.
