Psalm 25
CSB Parallel NIV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Christian Standard BibleNew International Version
LORD, I appeal to you.1Of David. In you, LORD my God, I put my trust.
My God, I trust in you. Do not let me be disgraced; do not let my enemies gloat over me.2I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me.
No one who waits for you will be disgraced; those who act treacherously without cause will be disgraced.3No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause.
Make your ways known to me, LORD; teach me your paths.4Show me your ways, LORD, teach me your paths.
Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; I wait for you all day long.5Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.
Remember, LORD, your compassion and your faithful love, for they have existed from antiquity.6Remember, LORD, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth or my acts of rebellion; in keeping with your faithful love, remember me because of your goodness, LORD.7Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you, LORD, are good.
The LORD is good and upright; therefore he shows sinners the way.8Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.
He leads the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.9He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.
All the LORD's ways show faithful love and truth to those who keep his covenant and decrees.10All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of his covenant.
LORD, for the sake of your name, forgive my iniquity, for it is immense.11For the sake of your name, LORD, forgive my iniquity, though it is great.
Who is this person who fears the LORD? He will show him the way he should choose.12Who, then, are those who fear the LORD? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.
He will live a good life, and his descendants will inherit the land.13They will spend their days in prosperity, and their descendants will inherit the land.
The secret counsel of the LORD is for those who fear him, and he reveals his covenant to them.14The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them.
My eyes are always on the LORD, for he will pull my feet out of the net.15My eyes are ever on the LORD, for only he will release my feet from the snare.
Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am alone and afflicted.16Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.
The distresses of my heart increase; bring me out of my sufferings.17Relieve the troubles of my heart and free me from my anguish.
Consider my affliction and trouble, and forgive all my sins.18Look on my affliction and my distress and take away all my sins.
Consider my enemies; they are numerous, and they hate me violently.19See how numerous are my enemies and how fiercely they hate me!
Guard me and rescue me; do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.20Guard my life and rescue me; do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.
May integrity and what is right watch over me, for I wait for you.21May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope, LORD, is in you.
God, redeem Israel, from all its distresses.22Deliver Israel, O God, from all their troubles!
