Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good and his loyal love endures! 1Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.
Let Israel say, "Yes, his loyal love endures!" 2Let all Israel repeat: “His faithful love endures forever.”
Let the family of Aaron say, "Yes, his loyal love endures!" 3Let Aaron’s descendants, the priests, repeat: “His faithful love endures forever.”
Let the loyal followers of the LORD say, "Yes, his loyal love endures!" 4Let all who fear the LORD repeat: “His faithful love endures forever.”
In my distress I cried out to the LORD. The LORD answered me and put me in a wide open place. 5In my distress I prayed to the LORD, and the LORD answered me and set me free.
The LORD is on my side, I am not afraid! What can people do to me? 6The LORD is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?
The LORD is on my side as my helper. I look in triumph on those who hate me. 7Yes, the LORD is for me; he will help me. I will look in triumph at those who hate me.
It is better to take shelter in the LORD than to trust in people. 8It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in people.
It is better to take shelter in the LORD than to trust in princes. 9It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.
All the nations surrounded me. Indeed, in the name of the LORD I pushed them away. 10Though hostile nations surrounded me, I destroyed them all with the authority of the LORD.
They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me. Indeed, in the name of the LORD I pushed them away. 11Yes, they surrounded and attacked me, but I destroyed them all with the authority of the LORD.
They surrounded me like bees. But they disappeared as quickly as a fire among thorns. Indeed, in the name of the LORD I pushed them away. 12They swarmed around me like bees; they blazed against me like a crackling fire. But I destroyed them all with the authority of the LORD.
"You aggressively attacked me and tried to knock me down, but the LORD helped me. 13My enemies did their best to kill me, but the LORD rescued me.
The LORD gives me strength and protects me; he has become my deliverer." 14The LORD is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.
They celebrate deliverance in the tents of the godly. The LORD's right hand conquers, 15Songs of joy and victory are sung in the camp of the godly. The strong right arm of the LORD has done glorious things!
the LORD's right hand gives victory, the LORD's right hand conquers. 16The strong right arm of the LORD is raised in triumph. The strong right arm of the LORD has done glorious things!
I will not die, but live, and I will proclaim what the LORD has done. 17I will not die; instead, I will live to tell what the LORD has done.
The LORD severely punished me, but he did not hand me over to death. 18The LORD has punished me severely, but he did not let me die.
Open for me the gates of the just king's temple! I will enter through them and give thanks to the LORD. 19Open for me the gates where the righteous enter, and I will go in and thank the LORD.
This is the LORD's gate--the godly enter through it. 20These gates lead to the presence of the LORD, and the godly enter there.
I will give you thanks, for you answered me, and have become my deliverer. 21I thank you for answering my prayer and giving me victory!
The stone which the builders discarded has become the cornerstone. 22The stone that the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.
This is the LORD's work. We consider it amazing! 23This is the LORD’s doing, and it is wonderful to see.
This is the day the LORD has brought about. We will be happy and rejoice in it. 24This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.
Please LORD, deliver! Please LORD, grant us success! 25Please, LORD, please save us. Please, LORD, please give us success.
May the one who comes in the name of the LORD be blessed! We will pronounce blessings on you in the LORD's temple. 26Bless the one who comes in the name of the LORD. We bless you from the house of the LORD.
The LORD is God and he has delivered us. Tie the offering with ropes to the horns of the altar! 27The LORD is God, shining upon us. Take the sacrifice and bind it with cords on the altar.
You are my God and I will give you thanks! You are my God and I will praise you! 28You are my God, and I will praise you! You are my God, and I will exalt you!
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good and his loyal love endures! 29Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.
