New King James VersionNET Bible
Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.1Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good and his loyal love endures!
Let Israel now say, “His mercy endures forever.”2Let Israel say, "Yes, his loyal love endures!"
Let the house of Aaron now say, “His mercy endures forever.”3Let the family of Aaron say, "Yes, his loyal love endures!"
Let those who fear the LORD now say, “His mercy endures forever.”4Let the loyal followers of the LORD say, "Yes, his loyal love endures!"
I called on the LORD in distress; The LORD answered me and set me in a broad place.5In my distress I cried out to the LORD. The LORD answered me and put me in a wide open place.
The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?6The LORD is on my side, I am not afraid! What can people do to me?
The LORD is for me among those who help me; Therefore I shall see my desire on those who hate me.7The LORD is on my side as my helper. I look in triumph on those who hate me.
It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in man.8It is better to take shelter in the LORD than to trust in people.
It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in princes.9It is better to take shelter in the LORD than to trust in princes.
All nations surrounded me, But in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.10All the nations surrounded me. Indeed, in the name of the LORD I pushed them away.
They surrounded me, Yes, they surrounded me; But in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.11They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me. Indeed, in the name of the LORD I pushed them away.
They surrounded me like bees; They were quenched like a fire of thorns; For in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.12They surrounded me like bees. But they disappeared as quickly as a fire among thorns. Indeed, in the name of the LORD I pushed them away.
You pushed me violently, that I might fall, But the LORD helped me.13"You aggressively attacked me and tried to knock me down, but the LORD helped me.
The LORD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.14The LORD gives me strength and protects me; he has become my deliverer."
The voice of rejoicing and salvation Is in the tents of the righteous; The right hand of the LORD does valiantly.15They celebrate deliverance in the tents of the godly. The LORD's right hand conquers,
The right hand of the LORD is exalted; The right hand of the LORD does valiantly.16the LORD's right hand gives victory, the LORD's right hand conquers.
I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the LORD.17I will not die, but live, and I will proclaim what the LORD has done.
The LORD has chastened me severely, But He has not given me over to death.18The LORD severely punished me, but he did not hand me over to death.
Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will go through them, And I will praise the LORD.19Open for me the gates of the just king's temple! I will enter through them and give thanks to the LORD.
This is the gate of the LORD, Through which the righteous shall enter.20This is the LORD's gate--the godly enter through it.
I will praise You, For You have answered me, And have become my salvation.21I will give you thanks, for you answered me, and have become my deliverer.
The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone.22The stone which the builders discarded has become the cornerstone.
This was the LORD’s doing; It is marvelous in our eyes.23This is the LORD's work. We consider it amazing!
This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.24This is the day the LORD has brought about. We will be happy and rejoice in it.
Save now, I pray, O LORD; O LORD, I pray, send now prosperity.25Please LORD, deliver! Please LORD, grant us success!
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD! We have blessed you from the house of the LORD.26May the one who comes in the name of the LORD be blessed! We will pronounce blessings on you in the LORD's temple.
God is the LORD, And He has given us light; Bind the sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar.27The LORD is God and he has delivered us. Tie the offering with ropes to the horns of the altar!
You are my God, and I will praise You; You are my God, I will exalt You.28You are my God and I will give you thanks! You are my God and I will praise you!
Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.29Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good and his loyal love endures!
