Psalm 65
NLT Parallel ESV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New Living TranslationEnglish Standard Version
What mighty praise, O God, belongs to you in Zion. We will fulfill our vows to you,1Praise is due to you, O God, in Zion, and to you shall vows be performed.
for you answer our prayers. All of us must come to you.2O you who hear prayer, to you shall all flesh come.
Though we are overwhelmed by our sins, you forgive them all.3When iniquities prevail against me, you atone for our transgressions.
What joy for those you choose to bring near, those who live in your holy courts. What festivities await us inside your holy Temple.4Blessed is the one you choose and bring near, to dwell in your courts! We shall be satisfied with the goodness of your house, the holiness of your temple!
You faithfully answer our prayers with awesome deeds, O God our savior. You are the hope of everyone on earth, even those who sail on distant seas.5By awesome deeds you answer us with righteousness, O God of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas;
You formed the mountains by your power and armed yourself with mighty strength.6the one who by his strength established the mountains, being girded with might;
You quieted the raging oceans with their pounding waves and silenced the shouting of the nations.7who stills the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, the tumult of the peoples,
Those who live at the ends of the earth stand in awe of your wonders. From where the sun rises to where it sets, you inspire shouts of joy.8so that those who dwell at the ends of the earth are in awe at your signs. You make the going out of the morning and the evening to shout for joy.
You take care of the earth and water it, making it rich and fertile. The river of God has plenty of water; it provides a bountiful harvest of grain, for you have ordered it so.9You visit the earth and water it; you greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water; you provide their grain, for so you have prepared it.
You drench the plowed ground with rain, melting the clods and leveling the ridges. You soften the earth with showers and bless its abundant crops.10You water its furrows abundantly, settling its ridges, softening it with showers, and blessing its growth.
You crown the year with a bountiful harvest; even the hard pathways overflow with abundance.11You crown the year with your bounty; your wagon tracks overflow with abundance.
The grasslands of the wilderness become a lush pasture, and the hillsides blossom with joy.12The pastures of the wilderness overflow, the hills gird themselves with joy,
The meadows are clothed with flocks of sheep, and the valleys are carpeted with grain. They all shout and sing for joy!13the meadows clothe themselves with flocks, the valleys deck themselves with grain, they shout and sing together for joy.
