NLT Parallel NET [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New Living TranslationNET Bible
O LORD, I give my life to you.1By David. O LORD, I come before you in prayer.
I trust in you, my God! Do not let me be disgraced, or let my enemies rejoice in my defeat.2My God, I trust in you. Please do not let me be humiliated; do not let my enemies triumphantly rejoice over me!
No one who trusts in you will ever be disgraced, but disgrace comes to those who try to deceive others.3Certainly none who rely on you will be humiliated. Those who deal in treachery will be thwarted and humiliated.
Show me the right path, O LORD; point out the road for me to follow.4Make me understand your ways, O LORD! Teach me your paths!
Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you.5Guide me into your truth and teach me. For you are the God who delivers me; on you I rely all day long.
Remember, O LORD, your compassion and unfailing love, which you have shown from long ages past.6Remember your compassionate and faithful deeds, O LORD, for you have always acted in this manner.
Do not remember the rebellious sins of my youth. Remember me in the light of your unfailing love, for you are merciful, O LORD.7Do not hold against me the sins of my youth or my rebellious acts! Because you are faithful to me, extend to me your favor, O LORD!
The LORD is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray.8The LORD is both kind and fair; that is why he teaches sinners the right way to live.
He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way.9May he show the humble what is right! May he teach the humble his way!
The LORD leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant and obey his demands.10The LORD always proves faithful and reliable to those who follow the demands of his covenant.
For the honor of your name, O LORD, forgive my many, many sins.11For the sake of your reputation, O LORD, forgive my sin, because it is great.
Who are those who fear the LORD? He will show them the path they should choose.12The LORD shows his faithful followers the way they should live.
They will live in prosperity, and their children will inherit the land.13They experience his favor; their descendants inherit the land.
The LORD is a friend to those who fear him. He teaches them his covenant.14The LORD's loyal followers receive his guidance, and he reveals his covenantal demands to them.
My eyes are always on the LORD, for he rescues me from the traps of my enemies.15I continually look to the LORD for help, for he will free my feet from the enemy's net.
Turn to me and have mercy, for I am alone and in deep distress.16Turn toward me and have mercy on me, for I am alone and oppressed!
My problems go from bad to worse. Oh, save me from them all!17Deliver me from my distress; rescue me from my suffering!
Feel my pain and see my trouble. Forgive all my sins.18See my pain and suffering! Forgive all my sins!
See how many enemies I have and how viciously they hate me!19Watch my enemies, for they outnumber me; they hate me and want to harm me.
Protect me! Rescue my life from them! Do not let me be disgraced, for in you I take refuge.20Protect me and deliver me! Please do not let me be humiliated, for I have taken shelter in you!
May integrity and honesty protect me, for I put my hope in you.21May integrity and godliness protect me, for I rely on you!
O God, ransom Israel from all its troubles.22O God, rescue Israel from all their distress!
