New Living TranslationHolman Christian Standard Bible
O LORD, I give my life to you.1Davidic. LORD, I turn to You.
I trust in you, my God! Do not let me be disgraced, or let my enemies rejoice in my defeat.2My God, I trust in You. Do not let me be disgraced; do not let my enemies gloat over me.
No one who trusts in you will ever be disgraced, but disgrace comes to those who try to deceive others.3No one who waits for You will be disgraced; those who act treacherously without cause will be disgraced.
Show me the right path, O LORD; point out the road for me to follow.4Make Your ways known to me, LORD; teach me Your paths.
Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you.5Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; I wait for You all day long.
Remember, O LORD, your compassion and unfailing love, which you have shown from long ages past.6Remember, LORD, Your compassion and Your faithful love, for they have existed from antiquity.
Do not remember the rebellious sins of my youth. Remember me in the light of your unfailing love, for you are merciful, O LORD.7Do not remember the sins of my youth or my acts of rebellion; in keeping with Your faithful love, remember me because of Your goodness, LORD.
The LORD is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray.8The LORD is good and upright; therefore He shows sinners the way.
He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way.9He leads the humble in what is right and teaches them His way.
The LORD leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant and obey his demands.10All the LORD's ways show faithful love and truth to those who keep His covenant and decrees.
For the honor of your name, O LORD, forgive my many, many sins.11Because of Your name, Yahweh, forgive my sin, for it is great.
Who are those who fear the LORD? He will show them the path they should choose.12Who is the man who fears the LORD? He will show him the way he should choose.
They will live in prosperity, and their children will inherit the land.13He will live a good life, and his descendants will inherit the land.
The LORD is a friend to those who fear him. He teaches them his covenant.14The secret counsel of the LORD is for those who fear Him, and He reveals His covenant to them.
My eyes are always on the LORD, for he rescues me from the traps of my enemies.15My eyes are always on the LORD, for He will pull my feet out of the net.
Turn to me and have mercy, for I am alone and in deep distress.16Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am alone and afflicted.
My problems go from bad to worse. Oh, save me from them all!17The distresses of my heart increase; bring me out of my sufferings.
Feel my pain and see my trouble. Forgive all my sins.18Consider my affliction and trouble, and take away all my sins.
See how many enemies I have and how viciously they hate me!19Consider my enemies; they are numerous, and they hate me violently.
Protect me! Rescue my life from them! Do not let me be disgraced, for in you I take refuge.20Guard me and deliver me; do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in You.
May integrity and honesty protect me, for I put my hope in you.21May integrity and what is right watch over me, for I wait for You.
O God, ransom Israel from all its troubles.22God, redeem Israel, from all its distresses.
