This verse underscores the certainty of Christ's future judgment and the assurance of His righteous standards, as evidenced by His resurrection.

The Apostle Paul also speaks of Christ's righteous judgment in 2 Timothy 4:8 , where he writes, "From now on there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but to all who crave His appearing." Here, Paul expresses confidence in receiving a reward from Christ, the righteous Judge, affirming that His judgments will be just and based on His perfect righteousness.

Revelation 19:11 provides a vivid depiction of Christ's return as the righteous judge: "Then I saw heaven standing open, and there before me was a white horse. And its rider is called Faithful and True. With righteousness He judges and wages war." This imagery portrays Christ as the ultimate arbiter of justice, whose judgments are executed with unwavering righteousness.

Throughout Scripture, the righteousness of Christ as a judge is consistently portrayed as an integral aspect of His divine mission. His judgments are characterized by fairness, truth, and an unwavering commitment to God's standards. As the righteous judge, Christ embodies the perfect balance of justice and mercy, ensuring that His judgments are both fair and redemptive.
