I Will Exalt You, My God and King

תְּהִלָּ֗ה (A Psalm) לְדָ֫וִ֥ד (of David).

1אֲרוֹמִמְךָ֣ (I will lift You high), אֱלוֹהַ֣י (my God) הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ (the King),

וַאֲבָרֲכָ֥ה (and I will bless) שִׁ֝מְךָ֗ (Your name) לְעוֹלָ֥ם (forever) וָעֶֽד׃ (and ever).

2  בְּכָל־ (With every) י֥וֹם (day) אֲבָרֲכֶ֑ךָּ (I will bless You)

וַאֲהַלְלָ֥ה (and I will praise) שִׁ֝מְךָ֗ (Your name) לְעוֹלָ֥ם (forever) וָעֶֽד׃ (and ever).

3  גָּ֘ד֤וֹל (Great is) יְהוָ֣ה (YHWH) וּמְהֻלָּ֣ל (and to be praised) מְאֹ֑ד (greatly),

וְ֝לִגְדֻלָּת֗וֹ (and for His greatness) אֵ֣ין (not) חֵֽקֶר׃ (searching out).

4  דּ֣וֹר (Generation) לְ֭דוֹר (to generation) יְשַׁבַּ֣ח (will commend) מַעֲשֶׂ֑יךָ (Your works),

וּגְב֖וּרֹתֶ֣יךָ (and Your mighty acts) יַגִּֽידוּ׃ (they will declare).

5  הֲ֭דַר (The splendor), כְּב֣וֹד (of the glory) הוֹדֶ֑ךָ (of Your majesty),

וְדִבְרֵ֖י (and words) נִפְלְאוֹתֶ֣יךָ (of Your wonders) אָשִֽׂיחָה׃ (I will put forth).

6  וֶעֱז֣וּז (And the strength) נוֹרְאֹתֶ֣יךָ (of Your fearful acts) יֹאמֵ֑רוּ (they will speak),

וּגְדוּלֹּתֶיךָ (and Your greatness) אֲסַפְּרֶֽנָּה׃ (I will recount).

7  זֵ֣כֶר (The memory) רַב־ (of the abundance) טוּבְךָ֣ (of Your goodness) יַבִּ֑יעוּ (they will pour forth),

וְצִדְקָתְךָ֥ (and Your righteousness) יְרַנֵּֽנוּ׃ (they will sing out).

8  חַנּ֣וּן (Gracious) וְרַח֣וּם (and compassionate) יְהוָ֑ה (is YHWH),

אֶ֥רֶךְ (slow to) אַ֝פַּ֗יִם (anger) וּגְדָל־ (and great) חָֽסֶד׃ (in loving devotion).

9  טוֹב־ (Good) יְהוָ֥ה (is YHWH) לַכֹּ֑ל (to all),

וְ֝רַחֲמָ֗יו (and His mercies are) עַל־ (upon) כָּל־ (all) מַעֲשָֽׂיו׃ (His works).

10  יוֹד֣וּךָ (Will give You thanks), יְ֭הוָה (O YHWH), כָּל־ (all) מַעֲשֶׂ֑יךָ (Your works),

וַ֝חֲסִידֶ֗יךָ (and Your holy ones) יְבָרֲכֽוּכָה׃ (will bless You).

11  כְּב֣וֹד (The glory) מַלְכוּתְךָ֣ (of Your kingdom) יֹאמֵ֑רוּ (they will speak),

וּגְבוּרָתְךָ֥ (and Your might) יְדַבֵּֽרוּ׃ (they will declare),

12  לְהוֹדִ֤יעַ׀ (to make known) לִבְנֵ֣י (to the sons) הָ֭אָדָם (of man) גְּבוּרֹתָ֑יו (His mighty deeds)

וּ֝כְב֗וֹד (and the glory) הֲדַ֣ר (of the majesty) מַלְכוּתֽוֹ׃ (of His kingdom).

13  מַֽלְכוּתְךָ֗ (Your kingdom) מַלְכ֥וּת (is a kingdom) כָּל־ (of all) עֹֽלָמִ֑ים (ages),

וּ֝מֶֽמְשֶׁלְתְּךָ֗ (and Your dominion) בְּכָל־ (is for every) דּ֥וֹר (generation) וָדֽוֹר׃ (and generation).

14  סוֹמֵ֣ךְ (Is upholding) יְ֭הוָה (is YHWH) לְכָל־ (for all) הַנֹּפְלִ֑ים (those falling),

וְ֝זוֹקֵ֗ף (and raising up) לְכָל־ (all) הַכְּפוּפִֽים׃ (those bent down low).

15  עֵֽינֵי־ (The eyes) כֹ֭ל (of all) אֵלֶ֣יךָ (for You) יְשַׂבֵּ֑רוּ (wait)

וְאַתָּ֤ה (and You) נֽוֹתֵן־ (give) לָהֶ֖ם (to them) אֶת־ (-) אָכְלָ֣ם (their food) בְּעִתּֽוֹ׃ (in its time).

16  פּוֹתֵ֥חַ (You open) אֶת־ (-) יָדֶ֑ךָ (Your hand),

וּמַשְׂבִּ֖יעַ (and satisfy) לְכָל־ (every) חַ֣י (living thing) רָצֽוֹן׃ (the desire).

17  צַדִּ֣יק (Righteous is) יְ֭הוָה (YHWH) בְּכָל־ (in all) דְּרָכָ֑יו (His ways),

וְ֝חָסִ֗יד (and kind) בְּכָל־ (in all) מַעֲשָֽׂיו׃ (His works).

18  קָר֣וֹב (Near is) יְ֭הוָה (YHWH) לְכָל־ (to all) קֹרְאָ֑יו (those calling on Him),

לְכֹ֤ל (to all) אֲשֶׁ֖ר (who) יִקְרָאֻ֣הוּ (call on Him) בֶאֱמֶֽת׃ (in truth).

19  רְצוֹן־ (The desire) יְרֵאָ֥יו (of those who fear Him) יַעֲשֶׂ֑ה (He does),

וְֽאֶת־ (and) שַׁוְעָתָ֥ם (their cry for help) יִ֝שְׁמַ֗ע (He hears)

וְיוֹשִׁיעֵֽם׃ (and He saves them).

20  שׁוֹמֵ֣ר (Is guarding) יְ֭הוָה (YHWH) אֶת־ (-) כָּל־ (all) אֹהֲבָ֑יו (those loving Him),

וְאֵ֖ת (and) כָּל־ (all) הָרְשָׁעִ֣ים (the wicked) יַשְׁמִֽיד׃ (He will destroy).

21  תְּהִלַּ֥ת (The praise) יְהוָ֗ה (of YHWH) יְֽדַבֶּ֫ר־ (will declare) פִּ֥י (my mouth),

וִיבָרֵ֣ךְ (and let bless) כָּל־ (all) בָּ֭שָׂר (flesh) שֵׁ֥ם (the name) קָדְשׁ֗וֹ (of His holiness)

לְעוֹלָ֥ם (forever) וָעֶֽד׃ (and ever).
