Jehoahaz, King of Israel

Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, reigned as the king of Israel in Samaria for seventeen years. His reign is recorded in the biblical narrative as a period marked by idolatry and subjugation to foreign powers, specifically the Arameans. The biblical account of Jehoahaz's reign is found in 2 Kings 13:1-9.
