Joyful Thanksgiving

1  וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֙ (And you will say) בַּיּ֣וֹם (in the day) הַה֔וּא (that),

אוֹדְךָ֣ (I will praise You), יְהוָ֔ה (O YHWH).

כִּ֥י (Though) אָנַ֖פְתָּ (You were angry) בִּ֑י (with me),

יָשֹׁ֥ב (has turned away) אַפְּךָ֖ (Your nose),

וּֽתְנַחֲמֵֽנִי׃ (and You have comforted me).

2  הִנֵּ֨ה (Behold), אֵ֧ל (God is) יְשׁוּעָתִ֛י (my salvation);

אֶבְטַ֖ח (I will trust) וְלֹ֣א (and not) אֶפְחָ֑ד (be afraid),

כִּֽי־ (for) עָזִּ֤י (my strength) וְזִמְרָת֙ (and song) יָ֣הּ (is YAH) יְהוָ֔ה (YHWH),

וַֽיְהִי־ (and He has become) לִ֖י (for me) לִֽישׁוּעָֽה׃ (salvation).

3  וּשְׁאַבְתֶּם־ (And you⁺ will draw) מַ֖יִם (water) בְּשָׂשׂ֑וֹן (with joy) מִמַּעַיְנֵ֖י (from the springs) הַיְשׁוּעָֽה׃ (of salvation). 4  וַאֲמַרְתֶּ֞ם (And you⁺ will say) בַּיּ֣וֹם (in the day) הַה֗וּא (that),

הוֹד֤וּ (Give praise) לַֽיהוָה֙ (to YHWH);

קִרְא֣וּ (call) בִשְׁמ֔וֹ (on His name)!

הוֹדִ֥יעוּ (Declare) בָֽעַמִּ֖ים (among the peoples) עֲלִֽילֹתָ֑יו (His deeds);

הַזְכִּ֕ירוּ (cause it to be remembered) כִּ֥י (that) נִשְׂגָּ֖ב (exalted is) שְׁמֽוֹ׃ (His name).

5  זַמְּר֣וּ (Sing) יְהוָ֔ה (to YHWH), כִּ֥י (for) גֵא֖וּת (magnificent things) עָשָׂ֑ה (He has done).

מְיֻדַּעַת (Let be known) זֹ֖את (this) בְּכָל־ (in all) הָאָֽרֶץ׃ (the earth).

6  צַהֲלִ֥י (Cry out) וָרֹ֖נִּי (and ring out), יוֹשֶׁ֣בֶת (O dweller) צִיּ֑וֹן (of Zion),

כִּֽי־ (for) גָד֥וֹל (great) בְּקִרְבֵּ֖ךְ (among you) קְד֥וֹשׁ (is the Holy One) יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃פ (of Israel).
