1Praise the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song, And His praise in the assembly of saints.1הַ֥לְלוּ יָ֨הּ ׀ שִׁ֣ירוּ לַֽ֭יהוָה שִׁ֣יר חָדָ֑שׁ תְּ֝הִלָּת֗וֹ בִּקְהַ֥ל חֲסִידִֽים׃
2Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.2יִשְׂמַ֣ח יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל בְּעֹשָׂ֑יו בְּנֵֽי־ צִ֝יּ֗וֹן יָגִ֥ילוּ בְמַלְכָּֽם׃
3Let them praise His name with the dance; Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp.3יְהַֽלְל֣וּ שְׁמ֣וֹ בְמָח֑וֹל בְּתֹ֥ף וְ֝כִנּ֗וֹר יְזַמְּרוּ־ לֽוֹ׃
4For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation.4כִּֽי־ רוֹצֶ֣ה יְהוָ֣ה בְּעַמּ֑וֹ יְפָאֵ֥ר עֲ֝נָוִ֗ים בִּישׁוּעָֽה׃
5Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds.5יַעְלְז֣וּ חֲסִידִ֣ים בְּכָב֑וֹד יְ֝רַנְּנ֗וּ עַל־ מִשְׁכְּבוֹתָֽם׃
6Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand,6רוֹמְמ֣וֹת אֵ֭ל בִּגְרוֹנָ֑ם וְחֶ֖רֶב פִּֽיפִיּ֣וֹת בְּיָדָֽם׃
7To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples;7לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת נְ֭קָמָה בַּגּוֹיִ֑ם תּֽ֝וֹכֵחֹ֗ת בַּל־ אֻמִּֽים׃
8To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron;8לֶאְסֹ֣ר מַלְכֵיהֶ֣ם בְּזִקִּ֑ים וְ֝נִכְבְּדֵיהֶ֗ם בְּכַבְלֵ֥י בַרְזֶֽל׃
9To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the LORD!9לַעֲשׂ֤וֹת בָּהֶ֨ם ׀ מִשְׁפָּ֬ט כָּת֗וּב הָדָ֣ר ה֭וּא לְכָל־ חֲסִידָ֗יו הַֽלְלוּ־ יָֽהּ׃
