1 On the eighth day Moses summoned Aaron and his sons and the elders of Israel. On the eighth day Moses called Aaron and his sons and the elders of Israel, And it came to pass on the eighth day, <i>that</i> Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel; Now it came about on the eighth day that Moses called Aaron and his sons and the elders of Israel; On the eighth day Moses summoned Aaron and his sons and the elders of Israel.
2 He said to Aaron, “Take for yourself a young bull for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering, both without blemish, and present them before the LORD. and he said to Aaron, “Take for yourself a bull calf for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering, both without blemish, and offer them before the LORD. And he said unto Aaron, Take thee a young calf for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer <i>them</i> before the LORD. and he said to Aaron, “Take for yourself a calf, a bull, as a sin offering and a ram as a burnt offering, <i>both</i> without defect, and offer <i>them</i> before the LORD. He said to Aaron, “Take a bull calf for your sin offering and a ram for your burnt offering, both without defect, and present them before the LORD.
3 Then speak to the Israelites and say, ‘Take a male goat for a sin offering, a calf and a lamb— both a year old and without blemish— for a burnt offering, And say to the people of Israel, ‘Take a male goat for a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb, both a year old without blemish, for a burnt offering, And unto the children of Israel thou shalt speak, saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, <i>both</i> of the first year, without blemish, for a burnt offering; Then you shall speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘Take a male goat as a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb, both one year old, without defect, as a burnt offering, Then say to the Israelites: ‘Take a male goat for a sin offering, a calf and a lamb—both a year old and without defect—for a burnt offering,
4 an ox and a ram for a peace offering to sacrifice before the LORD, and a grain offering mixed with oil. For today the LORD will appear to you.’ ” and an ox and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the LORD, and a grain offering mixed with oil, for today the LORD will appear to you.’” Also a bullock and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the LORD; and a meat offering mingled with oil: for to day the LORD will appear unto you. and an ox and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the LORD, and a grain offering mixed with oil; for today the LORD will appear to you.’” and an ox and a ram for a fellowship offering to sacrifice before the LORD, together with a grain offering mixed with olive oil. For today the LORD will appear to you.’”
5 So they took what Moses had commanded to the front of the Tent of Meeting, and the whole congregation drew near and stood before the LORD. And they brought what Moses commanded in front of the tent of meeting, and all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD. And they brought <i>that</i> which Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD. So they took what Moses had commanded to the front of the tent of meeting, and the whole congregation came near and stood before the LORD. They took the things Moses commanded to the front of the tent of meeting, and the entire assembly came near and stood before the LORD.
6 And Moses said, “This is what the LORD has commanded you to do, so that the glory of the LORD may appear to you.” And Moses said, “This is the thing that the LORD commanded you to do, that the glory of the LORD may appear to you.” And Moses said, This <i>is</i> the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the LORD shall appear unto you. And Moses said, “This is the thing which the LORD has commanded you to do, so that the glory of the LORD may appear to you.” Then Moses said, “This is what the LORD has commanded you to do, so that the glory of the LORD may appear to you.”
7 Then Moses said to Aaron, “Approach the altar and sacrifice your sin offering and your burnt offering to make atonement for yourself and for the people. And sacrifice the people’s offering to make atonement for them, as the LORD has commanded.” Then Moses said to Aaron, “Draw near to the altar and offer your sin offering and your burnt offering and make atonement for yourself and for the people, and bring the offering of the people and make atonement for them, as the LORD has commanded.” And Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make an atonement for thyself, and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the LORD commanded. Moses then said to Aaron, “Come near to the altar and offer your sin offering and your burnt offering, so that you may make atonement for yourself and for the people; then make the offering for the people, so that you may make atonement for them, just as the LORD has commanded.” Moses said to Aaron, “Come to the altar and sacrifice your sin offering and your burnt offering and make atonement for yourself and the people; sacrifice the offering that is for the people and make atonement for them, as the LORD has commanded.”
8 So Aaron approached the altar and slaughtered the calf as a sin offering for himself. So Aaron drew near to the altar and killed the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself. Aaron therefore went unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin offering, which <i>was</i> for himself. So Aaron came near to the altar and slaughtered the calf of the sin offering which was for himself. So Aaron came to the altar and slaughtered the calf as a sin offering for himself.
9 The sons of Aaron brought the blood to him, and he dipped his finger in the blood and applied it to the horns of the altar. And he poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar. And the sons of Aaron presented the blood to him, and he dipped his finger in the blood and put it on the horns of the altar and poured out the blood at the base of the altar. And the sons of Aaron brought the blood unto him: and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put <i>it</i> upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar: Aaron’s sons then presented the blood to him; and he dipped his finger in the blood and put <i>some</i> on the horns of the altar, and poured out <i>the rest of</i> the blood at the base of the altar. His sons brought the blood to him, and he dipped his finger into the blood and put it on the horns of the altar; the rest of the blood he poured out at the base of the altar.
10 On the altar he burned the fat, the kidneys, and the lobe of the liver from the sin offering, as the LORD had commanded Moses. But the fat and the kidneys and the long lobe of the liver from the sin offering he burned on the altar, as the LORD commanded Moses. But the fat, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver of the sin offering, he burnt upon the altar; as the LORD commanded Moses. The fat and the kidneys and the lobe of the liver of the sin offering he then offered up in smoke on the altar, just as the LORD had commanded Moses. On the altar he burned the fat, the kidneys and the long lobe of the liver from the sin offering, as the LORD commanded Moses;
11 But he burned up the flesh and the hide outside the camp. The flesh and the skin he burned up with fire outside the camp. And the flesh and the hide he burnt with fire without the camp. The flesh and the hide, however, he burned with fire outside the camp. the flesh and the hide he burned up outside the camp.
12 Then Aaron slaughtered the burnt offering. His sons brought him the blood, and he sprinkled it on all sides of the altar. Then he killed the burnt offering, and Aaron’s sons handed him the blood, and he threw it against the sides of the altar. And he slew the burnt offering; and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled round about upon the altar. Then he slaughtered the burnt offering; and Aaron’s sons brought the blood to him, and he sprinkled it around on the altar. Then he slaughtered the burnt offering. His sons handed him the blood, and he splashed it against the sides of the altar.
13 They brought him the burnt offering piece by piece, including the head, and he burned them on the altar. And they handed the burnt offering to him, piece by piece, and the head, and he burned them on the altar. And they presented the burnt offering unto him, with the pieces thereof, and the head: and he burnt <i>them</i> upon the altar. They brought the burnt offering to him in pieces, with the head, and he offered <i>them</i> up in smoke on the altar. They handed him the burnt offering piece by piece, including the head, and he burned them on the altar.
14 He washed the entrails and the legs and burned them atop the burnt offering on the altar. And he washed the entrails and the legs and burned them with the burnt offering on the altar. And he did wash the inwards and the legs, and burnt <i>them</i> upon the burnt offering on the altar. He also washed the entrails and the legs, and offered <i>them</i> up in smoke with the burnt offering on the altar. 15 Aaron then presented the people’s offering. He took the male goat for the people’s sin offering, slaughtered it, and offered it for sin like the first one. Then he presented the people’s offering and took the goat of the sin offering that was for the people and killed it and offered it as a sin offering, like the first one. And he brought the people's offering, and took the goat, which <i>was</i> the sin offering for the people, and slew it, and offered it for sin, as the first. 16 He presented the burnt offering and offered it according to the ordinance. And he presented the burnt offering and offered it according to the rule. And he brought the burnt offering, and offered it according to the manner. He also presented the burnt offering, and offered it according to the ordinance. He brought the burnt offering and offered it in the prescribed way.
17 Next he presented the grain offering, took a handful of it, and burned it on the altar in addition to the morning’s burnt offering. And he presented the grain offering, took a handful of it, and burned it on the altar, besides the burnt offering of the morning. And he brought the meat offering, and took an handful thereof, and burnt <i>it</i> upon the altar, beside the burnt sacrifice of the morning. He also brought the grain offering, took a handful of it and burned it on the altar in addition to the morning’s burnt offering.
18 Then he slaughtered the ox and the ram as the people’s peace offering. His sons brought him the blood, and he sprinkled it on all sides of the altar. Then he killed the ox and the ram, the sacrifice of peace offerings for the people. And Aaron’s sons handed him the blood, and he threw it against the sides of the altar. He slew also the bullock and the ram <i>for</i> a sacrifice of peace offerings, which <i>was</i> for the people: and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled upon the altar round about, Then he slaughtered the ox and the ram, the sacrifice of peace offerings which was for the people; and Aaron’s sons brought the blood to him, and he sprinkled it around on the altar. He slaughtered the ox and the ram as the fellowship offering for the people. His sons handed him the blood, and he splashed it against the sides of the altar.
19 They also brought the fat portions from the ox and the ram— the fat tail, the fat covering the entrails, the kidneys, and the lobe of the liver— But the fat pieces of the ox and of the ram, the fat tail and that which covers the entrails and the kidneys and the long lobe of the liver— And the fat of the bullock and of the ram, the rump, and that which covereth <i>the inwards</i>, and the kidneys, and the caul <i>above</i> the liver: As for the portions of fat from the ox and from the ram, the fat tail, the <i>fat</i> covering, the kidneys, and the lobe of the liver, But the fat portions of the ox and the ram—the fat tail, the layer of fat, the kidneys and the long lobe of the liver—
20 and placed these on the breasts. Aaron burned the fat portions on the altar, they put the fat pieces on the breasts, and he burned the fat pieces on the altar, And they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat upon the altar: they now placed the portions of fat on the breasts; and he offered them up in smoke on the altar. these they laid on the breasts, and then Aaron burned the fat on the altar.
21 but he waved the breasts and the right thigh as a wave offering before the LORD, as Moses had commanded. but the breasts and the right thigh Aaron waved for a wave offering before the LORD, as Moses commanded. And the breasts and the right shoulder Aaron waved <i>for</i> a wave offering before the LORD; as Moses commanded. But the breasts and the right thigh Aaron presented as a wave offering before the LORD, just as Moses had commanded. Aaron waved the breasts and the right thigh before the LORD as a wave offering, as Moses commanded.
22 Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people and blessed them. And having made the sin offering, the burnt offering, and the peace offering, he stepped down. Then Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people and blessed them, and he came down from offering the sin offering and the burnt offering and the peace offerings. And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings. Then Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people and blessed them, and he stepped down after making the sin offering, the burnt offering, and the peace offerings. 23 Moses and Aaron then entered the Tent of Meeting. When they came out, they blessed the people, and the glory of the LORD appeared to all the people. And Moses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting, and when they came out they blessed the people, and the glory of the LORD appeared to all the people. And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the people. 24 Fire came out from the presence of the LORD and consumed the burnt offering and the fat portions on the altar. And when all the people saw it, they shouted for joy and fell facedown. And fire came out from before the LORD and consumed the burnt offering and the pieces of fat on the altar, and when all the people saw it, they shouted and fell on their faces. And there came a fire out from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: <i>which</i> when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces. Then fire went out from the LORD and consumed the burnt offering and the portions of fat on the altar; and when all the people saw <i>it,</i> they shouted and fell face downward. Fire came out from the presence of the LORD and consumed the burnt offering and the fat portions on the altar. And when all the people saw it, they shouted for joy and fell facedown.
