They made specially woven garments for ministry in the sanctuary, and the holy garments for Aaron from the blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.1From the blue, purple, and scarlet yarn they made woven garments for serving in the sanctuary; they made holy garments that were for Aaron, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
Bezalel made the ephod of gold, of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and of finely spun linen.2He made the ephod of gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twisted linen.
They hammered out thin sheets of gold, and he cut threads from them to interweave with the blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and the fine linen in a skillful design.3They hammered the gold into thin sheets and cut it into narrow strips to weave them into the blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and into the fine linen, the work of an artistic designer.
They made shoulder pieces for attaching it; it was joined together at its two edges.4They made shoulder pieces for it, attached to two of its corners, so it could be joined together.
The artistically woven waistband that was on the ephod was of one piece with the ephod, according to the same workmanship of gold, of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and of finely spun linen, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.5The artistically woven waistband of the ephod that was on it was like it, of one piece with it, of gold, blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and fine twisted linen, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
Then they mounted the onyx stones surrounded with gold filigree settings, engraved with the names of Israel's sons as a gem cutter engraves a seal.6They set the onyx stones in gold filigree settings, engraved as with the engravings of a seal with the names of the sons of Israel.
He fastened them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod as memorial stones for the Israelites, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.7He put them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod as stones of memorial for the Israelites, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
He also made the embroidered breastpiece with the same workmanship as the ephod of gold, of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and of finely spun linen.8He made the breastpiece, the work of an artistic designer, in the same fashion as the ephod, of gold, blue, purple, and scarlet, and fine twisted linen.
They made the breastpiece square and folded double, nine inches long and nine inches wide.9It was square--they made the breastpiece doubled, nine inches long and nine inches wide when doubled.
They mounted four rows of gemstones on it. The first row was a row of carnelian, topaz, and emerald;10They set on it four rows of stones: a row with a ruby, a topaz, and a beryl--the first row;
the second row, a turquoise, a lapis lazuli, and a diamond;11and the second row, a turquoise, a sapphire, and an emerald;
the third row, a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;12and the third row, a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;
and the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper. They were surrounded with gold filigree in their settings.13and the fourth row, a chrysolite, an onyx, and a jasper. They were enclosed in gold filigree settings.
The twelve stones corresponded to the names of Israel's sons. Each stone was engraved like a seal with one of the names of the twelve tribes.14The stones were for the names of the sons of Israel, twelve, corresponding to the number of their names. Each name corresponding to one of the twelve tribes was like the engravings of a seal.
They made braided chains of pure gold cord for the breastpiece.15They made for the breastpiece braided chains like cords of pure gold,
They also fashioned two gold filigree settings and two gold rings and attached the two rings to its two corners.16and they made two gold filigree settings and two gold rings, and they attached the two rings to the upper two ends of the breastpiece.
Then they attached the two gold cords to the two gold rings on the corners of the breastpiece.17They attached the two gold chains to the two rings at the ends of the breastpiece;
They attached the other ends of the two cords to the two filigree settings, and in this way they attached them to the ephod's shoulder pieces in front.18the other two ends of the two chains they attached to the two settings, and they attached them to the shoulder pieces of the ephod at the front of it.
They made two other gold rings and put them at the two other corners of the breastpiece on the edge that is next to the inner border of the ephod.19They made two rings of gold and put them on the other two ends of the breastpiece on its edge, which is on the inner side of the ephod.
They made two more gold rings and attached them to the bottom of the ephod's two shoulder pieces on its front, close to its seam, above the ephod's woven waistband.20They made two more gold rings and attached them to the bottom of the two shoulder pieces on the front of the ephod, close to the juncture above the waistband of the ephod.
Then they tied the breastpiece from its rings to the rings of the ephod with a cord of blue yarn, so that the breastpiece was above the ephod's waistband and did not come loose from the ephod. They did just as the LORD had commanded Moses.21They tied the breastpiece by its rings to the rings of the ephod by blue cord, so that it was above the waistband of the ephod, so that the breastpiece would not be loose from the ephod, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
They made the woven robe of the ephod entirely of blue yarn.22He made the robe of the ephod completely blue, the work of a weaver.
There was an opening in the center of the robe like that of body armor with a collar around the opening so that it would not tear.23There was an opening in the center of the robe, like the opening of a collar, with an edge all around the opening so that it could not be torn.
They made pomegranates of finely spun blue, purple, and scarlet yarn on the lower hem of the robe.24They made pomegranates of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and twisted linen around the hem of the robe.
They made bells of pure gold and attached the bells between the pomegranates, all around the hem of the robe between the pomegranates,25They made bells of pure gold and attached the bells between the pomegranates around the hem of the robe between the pomegranates.
a bell and a pomegranate alternating all around the lower hem of the robe to be worn for ministry. They made it just as the LORD had commanded Moses.26There was a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, all around the hem of the robe, to be used in ministering, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
They made the tunics of fine woven linen for Aaron and his sons.27They made tunics of fine linen--the work of a weaver, for Aaron and for his sons--
They made the turban and the ornate headbands of fine linen, the linen undergarments of finely spun linen,28and the turban of fine linen, the headbands of fine linen, and the undergarments of fine twisted linen.
and the sash of finely spun linen expertly embroidered with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn. They did just as the LORD had commanded Moses.29The sash was of fine twisted linen and blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, the work of an embroiderer, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
They made a medallion, the holy diadem, out of pure gold and wrote on it an inscription like the engraving on a seal: HOLY TO THE LORD.30They made a plate, the holy diadem, of pure gold and wrote on it an inscription, as on the engravings of a seal, "Holiness to the LORD."
They attached a cord of blue yarn to it in order to mount it on the turban, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.31They attached to it a blue cord, to attach it to the turban above, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
So all the work for the tabernacle, the tent of meeting, was finished. The Israelites did everything just as the LORD had commanded Moses.32So all the work of the tabernacle, the tent of meeting, was completed, and the Israelites did according to all that the LORD had commanded Moses--they did it exactly so.
They brought the tabernacle to Moses: the tent with all its furnishings, its clasps, its supports, its crossbars, and its pillars and bases;33They brought the tabernacle to Moses, the tent and all its furnishings, clasps, frames, bars, posts, and bases;
the covering of ram skins dyed red and the covering of fine leather; the curtain for the screen;34and the coverings of ram skins dyed red, the covering of fine leather, and the protecting curtain;

the pure gold lampstand, with its lamps arranged and all its utensils, as well as the oil for the light;37the pure lampstand, its lamps, with the lamps set in order, and all its accessories, and oil for the light;
the gold altar; the anointing oil; the fragrant incense; the screen for the entrance to the tent;38and the gold altar, and the anointing oil, and the fragrant incense; and the curtain for the entrance to the tent;
the bronze altar with its bronze grate, its poles, and all its utensils; the basin with its stand;39the bronze altar and its bronze grating, its poles, and all its utensils; the large basin with its pedestal;

and the specially woven garments for ministering in the sanctuary, the holy garments for the priest Aaron and the garments for his sons to serve as priests.41the woven garments for serving in the sanctuary, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments for his sons to minister as priests.
The Israelites had done all the work according to everything the LORD had commanded Moses.42The Israelites did all the work according to all that the LORD had commanded Moses.
Moses inspected all the work they had accomplished. They had done just as the LORD commanded. Then Moses blessed them.43Moses inspected all the work--and they had done it just as the LORD had commanded--they had done it exactly--and Moses blessed them.
