1Give thanks to the LORD! Call on his name! Make known his accomplishments among the nations! | 1Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done. |
2Sing to him! Make music to him! Tell about all his miraculous deeds! | 2Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. |
3Boast about his holy name! Let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice! | 3Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice. |
4Seek the LORD and the strength he gives! Seek his presence continually! | 4Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. |
5Recall the miraculous deeds he performed, his mighty acts and the judgments he decreed, | 5Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced, |
6O children of Abraham, God's servant, you descendants of Jacob, God's chosen ones! | 6you his servants, the descendants of Abraham, his chosen ones, the children of Jacob. |
7He is the LORD our God; he carries out judgment throughout the earth. | 7He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth. |
8He always remembers his covenantal decree, the promise he made to a thousand generations-- | 8He remembers his covenant forever, the promise he made, for a thousand generations, |

10He gave it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as a lasting promise, | 10He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant: |

21He put him in charge of his palace, and made him manager of all his property, | 21He made him master of his household, ruler over all he possessed, |
22giving him authority to imprison his officials and to teach his advisers. | 22to instruct his princes as he pleased and teach his elders wisdom. |
23Israel moved to Egypt; Jacob lived for a time in the land of Ham. | 23Then Israel entered Egypt; Jacob resided as a foreigner in the land of Ham. |

43When he led his people out, they rejoiced; his chosen ones shouted with joy. | 43He brought out his people with rejoicing, his chosen ones with shouts of joy; |
44He handed the territory of nations over to them, and they took possession of what other peoples had produced, | 44he gave them the lands of the nations, and they fell heir to what others had toiled for-- |
45so that they might keep his commands and obey his laws. Praise the LORD! | 45that they might keep his precepts and observe his laws. Praise the LORD. |
