1To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork.1לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ מִזְמ֥וֹר לְדָוִֽד׃ הַשָּׁמַ֗יִם מְֽסַפְּרִ֥ים כְּבֽוֹד־ אֵ֑ל וּֽמַעֲשֵׂ֥ה יָ֝דָ֗יו מַגִּ֥יד הָרָקִֽיעַ׃
2Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge.2י֣וֹם לְ֭יוֹם יַבִּ֣יעַֽ אֹ֑מֶר וְלַ֥יְלָה לְּ֝לַ֗יְלָה יְחַוֶּה־ דָּֽעַת׃
3There is no speech nor language Where their voice is not heard.3אֵֽין־ אֹ֭מֶר וְאֵ֣ין דְּבָרִ֑ים בְּ֝לִ֗י נִשְׁמָ֥ע קוֹלָֽם׃
4Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun,4בְּכָל־ הָאָ֨רֶץ ׀ יָ֘צָ֤א קַוָּ֗ם וּבִקְצֵ֣ה תֵ֭בֵל מִלֵּיהֶ֑ם לַ֝שֶּׁ֗מֶשׁ שָֽׂם־ אֹ֥הֶל בָּהֶֽם׃
5Which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, And rejoices like a strong man to run its race.5וְה֗וּא כְּ֭חָתָן יֹצֵ֣א מֵחֻפָּת֑וֹ יָשִׂ֥ישׂ כְּ֝גִבּ֗וֹר לָר֥וּץ אֹֽרַח׃
6Its rising is from one end of heaven, And its circuit to the other end; And there is nothing hidden from its heat.6מִקְצֵ֤ה הַשָּׁמַ֨יִם ׀ מֽוֹצָא֗וֹ וּתְקוּפָת֥וֹ עַל־ קְצוֹתָ֑ם וְאֵ֥ין נִ֝סְתָּ֗ר מֵֽחַמָּתוֹ׃‪‬
7The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;7תּ֘וֹרַ֤ת יְהוָ֣ה תְּ֭מִימָה מְשִׁ֣יבַת נָ֑פֶשׁ עֵד֥וּת יְהוָ֥ה נֶ֝אֱמָנָ֗ה מַחְכִּ֥ימַת פֶּֽתִי׃
8The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;8פִּקּ֘וּדֵ֤י יְהוָ֣ה יְ֭שָׁרִים מְשַׂמְּחֵי־ לֵ֑ב מִצְוַ֥ת יְהוָ֥ה בָּ֝רָ֗ה מְאִירַ֥ת עֵינָֽיִם׃
9The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.9יִרְאַ֤ת יְהוָ֨ה ׀ טְהוֹרָה֮ עוֹמֶ֪דֶת לָ֫עַ֥ד מִֽשְׁפְּטֵי־ יְהוָ֥ה אֱמֶ֑ת צָֽדְק֥וּ יַחְדָּֽו׃
10More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.10הַֽנֶּחֱמָדִ֗ים מִ֭זָּהָב וּמִפַּ֣ז רָ֑ב וּמְתוּקִ֥ים מִ֝דְּבַ֗שׁ וְנֹ֣פֶת צוּפִֽים׃
11Moreover by them Your servant is warned, And in keeping them there is great reward.11גַּֽם־ עַ֭בְדְּךָ נִזְהָ֣ר בָּהֶ֑ם בְּ֝שָׁמְרָ֗ם עֵ֣קֶב רָֽב׃
12Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults.12שְׁגִיא֥וֹת מִֽי־ יָבִ֑ין מִֽנִּסְתָּר֥וֹת נַקֵּֽנִי׃
13Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, And I shall be innocent of great transgression.13גַּ֤ם מִזֵּדִ֨ים ׀ חֲשֹׂ֬ךְ עַבְדֶּ֗ךָ אַֽל־ יִמְשְׁלוּ־ בִ֣י אָ֣ז אֵיתָ֑ם וְ֝נִקֵּ֗יתִי מִפֶּ֥שַֽׁע רָֽב׃
14Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.14יִֽהְי֥וּ לְרָצ֨וֹן ׀ אִמְרֵי־ פִ֡י וְהֶגְי֣וֹן לִבִּ֣י לְפָנֶ֑יךָ יְ֝הוָ֗ה צוּרִ֥י וְגֹאֲלִֽי׃
